Its ok if you don't like star wars, but it's also about drawing skills and clearly some of them are kinda professional.
imo they should give first place to this pic https://4gameforum.com/threads/591663/#post-8556432 to be sure this judging are not gomofobic
Wow, thank you for the appreciation it means a lot! I'm very thankful and happy for the honor of being chosen as the 1st place winner in this awesome competition. Congratulations to the other winners! Really creative pieces of L2 fan art as a whole. Was a real joy drawing for this ^^ Keep on doing such fun events that keep our imagination working
Congratulations to all participants ^^ For me, this is my passion because I am military profession. Thank you to CM Amarantha for this event
I think it would have been better if u separate the servers like 1-2-3rd place for core and 1-2-3rd place for Skelth Or it would have been better if u separate the method of preparation like hand madeit and made with a program. Cause all winners are used some programs=no chance to win for hand maders.
I complately agree. First thing I noticed is that the majority of works taken into consideration are works done by computer programmes... I did not expect to take any place or win or whatever, I've just drawn my pic for fun, but the results I saw surprised me. It means that art supported by programmes is more... artistic? Anyway congrats to all and enjoy. ;p
well, to be honest, behind a "program" made picture there is a lot of work. there is no program that take as input "elf;lineage2;batman" and will create a masterpiece with an elf disguised as catwoman.
I remember one drawing of a woman made in a wall that you couldn't tell if it was real or not but it was so detailed(and so big) you could see the imperfections on her nails, i can't find the picture around tho, but that was handmade without any programs-
Gratz to all winners! Those works are not done by computer programmes... they are done by hand via computer programmes. You make it sound like computers draw by themselves. Most people who draw more serious or as a hobby pass to digital drawing. It is the future and present of drawing. We live in the 21st century. Tbh i've seen also some insanely good traditional art. So it's not like if you're good enough you don't have a chance against the digital drawings...there are certain criteria like composition, idea, technique coloring, anatomy etc that are taken into consideration when judging. I can't say i saw good anatomy skills among most entries. So it's normal to award the ones who cover some basics of drawing, at least.
