I haven't play Lineage 2 for quite some time, and I have that itch again that needs scratching

Few quick questions:

- I'm 100 Wynn DE 16AP with R95 gear. Do you recommend me to create new class? I remember Wynns got nerfed to the ground at around the time I stopped playing. Also, I personally stopped having fun when they took away the Reapers and Cougars. I decided to make DE in 2012 because of Dispartition, when it was racial and I loved new summons. Now I'm stuck with ugly summons and on top of all the nerfs, Dispartition is everywhere.

- If the answer to above is yes, which class would you recommend. I'm not gonna throw money at my screen for equipment. I would want a decent PvE class and if possible, a class that has some chance against heavily stacked players.

- I realize that before any PvP, I will have to farm for equipment etc. Does anyone know if there are "professional" PvE clans on Core? What I mean is, is there a large PvE dedicated clan that is not compiled of total randoms and is somewhat organized?

 

Wynns are super fun still, and not really nerfed. PvP wise you might not be the best class out there but PvE you are in the top 3 easily, and its also one of the best in terms if you don't have a lot of adena to throw at it. However I believe Light Elf wynns are the best (My personal opinion) you can always buy a Chaos essence for 7.9 Euro from the store and change to a LE Wynn with DE appearance.

 

I decided I will wipe everything and start anew. What are suggestions in classes now that the Helios is coming out? I was looking at ertheia eviscerator class, looks fun and it would lower the gap between old players?

 

I just did the same, started from zero, rolling a Tyrr Titan. It may change tho.
Should have decent amount of damage for bosses, easy to level up.
Not planning to catch stacked players soon so oly is out for me, for group activities I will have dual Yul probably.

Evi seems to be the best to level up quick and should have good pvp abilities too.
Just not my style.

@Scubba yeah, ever since I was scammed, I lost my last strenght to play. I was stupid enough to entrust clan member with too much stuff at the same time when selling stuff. Lost a bit over 6b adena that I was amassing over 3 years of casual play. Was about to get my first R99 gear
It was my fault and I'm not looking back now.

The other part of fun was took away when devs forced me out of reaper/cougar pets, racials not being racials anymore, number of summons reduced etc.
Game was stale for almost 2 years, and even tho I feel stupid doing this, its probably the only way to hook me up again - so it should be for the best in the long run.

Maybe we can do some stuff together? I still haven't decided on what to start with - I hear evis are nice and wanted pve wise, so I could farm stuff?.
Currently in selling process, will gather as much adena as I can. Is helios coming anytime soon? I would kinda like to start with new expansion

And worry not about past, there is a bright future ahead. Or at least me.

Regarding to farm, I'm not sure the classical farming is still a thing.
Doing the instances, bosses, and probably daily quests will give the sweet adenski and items.
For that we will need to gather few more enthusiastic players.

So, whatever class, let's not plan years ahead yet.
Myself, I can always reroll to tank, as that's the only class in L2 I really like to play.

 

Oh and Helios, I don't have any extra info about it.
Probably you know more simply by reading the forums moar.
I do not expect any soon, so waiting would be kinda waste of time. At least for me.

 

Well, first I need to decide on my new main Going Wynn again would be pointless probably hehe, archers are fun, but I hear they **** dps wise on raids/bosses and must have uber equip.
I got a feeling evis seem to be go to, if you don't have 30b to spend on gear. I wish to know what classes will be wanted in Helios for doing those instances, bosses etc.

I always loved PvP part of the game, so something that can later focus on PvP would be awesome Do I have the feeling or do you want to go CP-ish We can certainly at least try

Helios patch notes is public and nicely translated, Tyrrs get some buff definitely. I don't remember the rest.

In my experience L2 post-GoD PvP is all about gear. It will take ages to catch up, but we will see!

And when to start? Do you have better plans for tonight?
Tho starting till 85 is soloing and questing.. can be done in 2 days I guess easily.

 

Evi is getting a big nerf next update. Titan is true PvE monster. And you have many ways to boost the damage on it.

 

Yeah but Titan is Titan.. boring, slow, orc.
Not sexy.

 

Scuba, Tyrr Titan is not an orc, is not boring and is not slow. Titan is one of most mobility hero in game and very nice to play, but at this moment not in mass pvp.

 

I actually didn't have time for l2 yesterday I will tell you when I decide, checking stuff on internezs still XD

Sorry, could not play yesterday @Kengaa where did you see nerfs? On patch notes its only boosts, not much but still no trace of any nerfs?

 

Nah there are changes.
So increased cooldown on a skill is considered as a nerf.

Naito, will see, I have some high hopes.
Currently, getting till 90+ it is still old orc.
Unfortunately I do not see any chance to catch up with stacked players soon, so mass pvp is kinda out of my options.

 

Can someone link me where it says the nerf for evis, because I can't find it..

 

Atm evi is bugged or what ever you wanna call it, some stats stacks up which they should not.
Will be fixed next update, meaning evi will lose a junk of dps.

 

So not a nerf, but rather a fix that broke them? I read somthing about fixing a bug where one skill would do excessive dmg sometimes, people are probably referring to that?

 

Yes that's the "nerf". It's actually pretty big thing.

 

Were you able to compare damage with chars on NCWest ? Can you give us an idea of the difference after helios for evis ?
