in ru servers have cards from tarot, like ur's but there also is new one, from +12 and up, moder said to +50... so it can call death of l2 for me, quit this visa

 

Yea i also don't wanna see those cards in our server. I understand that Top Donator have all possible equipment and need to have new items to buy, but 98% people on server never be enough close to take a fight against them. At this moment situation in server is good and every day game gives more fun and more clan is involved to pvp, because finally they can compare theirs equipment to the best one. This new card for armor and weapon will kill this server and when 21StCentury will get bow +30 for sure i quit this game pvp be closed for 98% of people. Guys i mean Innova Team, Lineage 2 is a Massive Multiplayer Online Game, please let it be massive, don't close it to 20 person...

 

Currently we have same scrolls. Its called Freya Weapon Stone. Same effect, difference is only in restriction on value. Freya can be used to weapons max +15, new scrolls up to 50.
How many +16 weapons do we have?

So it will matter more on price of scroll and drop rate from Tarot and amount of tarots, people gonna buy.

 

Nobody on this server has the balls to keep enchanting. The only person who had the balls to enchant quit after making a million weapons +12 - 16+. I watched him blow up a +15 bow with a giant scroll because he wanted a +18 bow.

 

If by balls you mean trillions adena, yeah.

 

Is not about price ,cause at some point those freya craps were easier to obtain and market was flooded ,but yet noone was clicking .
The problem on the server is that people tend to not enchant weapon to more then +8 and those weapons that are more (+12-14+) will stay long time like this.
Mainly cause people think "if i break it to +10/11 i must enchant it back and it will cost me money IF IT SUCCEEDS". THe amount of overenchanted weapon on server overall aint that much %-wise . IF you see a simple fraps from Starco from RU server ,the guy is playing oly with +16 pvp bow and +17 pvp bow with 2 different auguments. There people can afford having 2 +16+ weapons while ,here we have like how much 2-3 all fists.
On that i must agree with Harvey ,people just lack balls.

 

It's not only about balls, it's also about the amount of adena you need to spend in your toon. RU servers were open at around hellbound chronicle, meaning at around H5 chronicles, they had full gear and they started farming adena to stack it up, also they are farming way more nowadays than people in Core (yes you can't make decent adena with kartias / baylors / kamaloka, sad story for lots of ppl). While on RU server, +14 weapons are common since a year ago, it's still rare to see here +12 weapons or more, not to talk about armors, in RU server everyone with +8 is willing to click to +10 that's why price of +10 is somehow normal, while here it's costing you a liver to buy one of those sets

 

They think balls = adena. Oh well...

 

Well if you have set +8 and weapon +8 and your montly income of adenas is less then 500kk ,you have no cash ,will you click you weapon?
Because that's majority of people's problem .

 

The question is, in my opinion, not restricted to balls.

When I look at my char, I wonder : if I had X amount of adenas, what would I do. I currently have a OE weapon, but no pearl/diamond/obsi/opal lvl 5. I also miss some pvp parts, some epic jewels. I don't have a 3rd sa on weapon.

So when the question will be : I have 20b, which is enough to enchant my bow and re-enchant it if it fails, will I try it for 150 base patk + 1.4% soulshot damage ? At the cost of 20b ? Or will I buy 2 parts +10, or a jewel, ...?

To sum up, the question isn't about balls, it's about what is the best way to improve your gear based on what you currently have. While in previous chronicle you didn't have to care about Jewels/3rd SA/..., so your only power up was to overenchant your armor, yeah, it made sense. But right now there are way more way to improve your gear in a more cost-efficient way. That's the key word : cost-efficiency (technically it's two words...).

 

Exactly what people said people rely on kartia farm for adenas.
Lots of adena income is comming from overenchanting and reselling ,there are people that are good examples for that.
Imo this is a complexed problem ,lack fo balls and lack of idea how to farm. There are few types of people that farm adena/aquire adena;
1) L2store/RMT farmers.
2) Raid/open field /low toons/zaken farmers.
3) Overenchanters.
4) Traders.
Except the first 2 the other ones are totaly gone on this server with very few exceptions.
Conclusion :it's about balls .

And up to what seivlas said with 20b means you have a decent adena income . And 150 p attack +1.4 soulshot dmg is believe it or not NOT THAT BAD at all.
If i have the option to choose between 2 parts +10 (that wont finish a +10 set) and weapon enchant i will for sure go for the weapon.
Cost-efficiency in this game means nothing . You must have clear idea on how to build your toon. If you have the money for def + dmg -ok. But if as a DD you have option dmg OR def,with archer on archer update when you already have a +8 set with few parts pvp ,u wont be able to sustain that much more with +10 pvp ( unless u fight NF or clan from that tier). So if you increase your DMG and you kill your enemies faster respectivly you will concede less dmg ...

 

Yup, but in my case I've an opal lvl 3. So if for 20b I could put my hand on a lvl 5, I'd definitely prefer having the jewel than the +2 enchant.

P.S : making a +12 weap +14 has a great chance to be way more costly than 20b

 

If you have pvp bow +10 and opal lvl 3 then for sure there is something wrong with the quote up here.

 

Except if I made it myself with ballz (was lucky on my red card (3 in a row w/o fail -> +1 +1 +3)

You were speaking about enchanting a weapon already +12, while I'm speaking about a weapon that was +7. You need 0 ballz to oe a +7weapon, only few spare billions, because even if you fail, the increased success rate of weapon compared to armors makes it fairly easy, on a fighter weapon, to reach +7.

Also, thanks for quoting me, when I say "not restricted to balls". To make it clearer, I slightly increased the vision of the part that makes the difference.

 

Opal lv.3 and opal lv.4 on stacked targets make zero difference, enchant on weapon makes difference regardless target.

 

I read the topic and think that some of you do not even understand this new card..
New card work exactly same like freya. Only one is difference do not have limit to enchant. So if some one have a lot of euro on account can simply enchant it to +20 or even +30 It depends only of euro, not the balls. With Freya you could enchant maks +16, now will be not limited. So normal players with balls can have weapon +12 +14, but +30 for them is almost not possible to do and for sure it not depends of theirs balls!

I hope Innova understand, that better is to have on server 700 medium donors and 1000 small, than 10 super. They can have more benefit from it and we have better game with more active clan on pvp. Sometime skills have to be reckoned on battlefield, not like is now just better equipment, it has to stop! And 50% players need to have possibility to make almost same equipment like the top players have.

This stupid card push the super donors forward with enchant, and situation on mass pvp never will be balanced....

 

Does anyone have +16 weapons now? Do you realise how low is the chance? Who in his right mind would click a +16 bow with chance to get even lower.

 

On Russian server with new card. He made it in same day when they add new card to tarot...
