This is a message for any gm/cm that browses this forum. The spamming situation is out of control in aden town. Not only are we the normal players of Core bombarded with rmt-messages via pms and shouts we are also being spammed by all box traders that use the auto-repeat macro to make things terrible for anyone who wants to try and make a few trades in aden town. Not only that but the only solution that we have to combat this has a time-limit and by that i mean the blocklist which is getting full and is just a matter of time before its impossible to stop these spammers. This is a serious problem and you need to find a solution by either increasing the blocklist amount, disabling chat on auto-repeat macro functions or removing banned rmt-trade characters from people's blocklist. I am a hardcore player of Core and i am fed up with this terrible situation. I love this server and i want to see something done about this.
The funny thing is, Aden is literally being spammed by these auto-repeat macro-s. You can't even hope to type something and to remain for more than 3-4 seconds. And now to the funny part.. you used to be a spammer,trying to sell different stuff on Aden local shouts,almost stole CarbonFiber-s job few months ago,before Helios update and now you complain about spammers. Irony, huh ?
I never spammed anything, back then you could put your shouts and trade like a normal person without having to block 15 boxes. I am actually a real person who wants to interact, talk and trade not some afk box on autorepeat with a store; and other people like me who want to do the same dont have the option anymore because of afk-spammers. So i dont find it ironic at all and i hope that more people can be on my side and make our voice heard so that robot spammers can be dealt with and we can go back to having a nice alive market with active traders.
if it makes so much problems dont go to aden thats it.. u can interact with ppl in pm/sell in "&" and make party without even writing to some chat
i guess u have korean client with 10000500000 holes in it since making a party room u getting flooded with shout messages in it i can repeat again u can make party without using any chat system.. if u do kamaloka then u have 95+ for "&" chat for "invitations"
cmec1 i think you missed the point of the post. Before helios patch arrived many people would gather in aden and shout to trade their items which is a huge part of the game and one of the things that makes lineage2 the great game that it is. Now even if i myself block everyone in aden that uses an auto-repeat fuction i sit alone in silence while everyone else has a sea of automacros on their client. That means that i will be alone in aden trading with a fraction of the playerbase that would trade beforehand. Our market on core was great and alive and it allowed many people to have fun. GMs are doing a good job banning RMT-spammers daily but players block those spammers first and we will end up with a full blocklist. Autorepeat macro i personaly despise to my core and i would rather see it burned alive, destroyed and never seen again but obviously low caliber players love to have a mini bot at their disposal and a autorepeat with chat has literaly 0 purposes to be used for good.
The spam macros are making a mess in Aden, indeed. It makes me ignore chat as a whole when I am there. Please, ask the Koreans to block the usage of shout and trade chats in macros.
macros with text only aka trade shout macros shouldn't be repeatable. at least patch notes say so. just staff didn't read everything there https://eu.4game.com/lineage2/play/helios/other-changes/#macros 8 - Macros made up of chat only, can no longer be repeated. When a player is banned from chatting, the remaining time is now displayed as a system message.
Ofc they are allowed and we should all go and spam them in Aden with 30 sec delay, then perhaps you can stop QQ on the forums about nonsense.
