I am happy to see a new server announced, just because of the fact that I love new servers in general. Unfortunately I also saw many new servers fail of which the latest is Zaken server on NA. This happened for 2 main reasons. 1st. There was a huge bot problem, both in pve and pvp. 2nd. Although second it contributed even more to the downfall quickly was the insane amount of gear by l2store and 'event's' prices. In NA in the 1st week of Zaken opening they had the 'fortune teller' event. Which gave tauti/kelbim weapons,epics, dark stones, 7s talisman, insanity etc etc. This made the server unbalanced from the start since the ones spending a lot of cash got an instant 3-6 month advantage compared to those who are 'normal' spenders. Since the fortune teller is available non-stop atm i really suggest to not make it available for the new server in the first 3 months. The same counts for all other boxes in the l2store which will give immediate advances above what people actually can farm on low levels. The same counts for events and auctions. Don't throw in paid events and auctions with items which are not natural for a new server. Throw in a few 'cheap' xp items instead as gearing up in general is easy enough for people with halve a brain. I do suggest however to open siege and olympiad from the start as it is insane fun to fight equally geared people and don't forget how fast and easy it is to lvl up these days. On my last new server (Zaken) it took me only 3 hours to 85. Expect people to hit 99 already before the first weekend. KillTime
Bots and scripts wont be a huge issue in this server , innova handle it well. Only l2store will make the expirience less enjoyable except if they limit it at the start.
