I'm very much the same boat. But I think it's massively important that we pick a class we enjoy playing .
if you like a class more, just pick it.. if you join a cp with friends that need a different class, make it on dual or something.. also remember that DDs are the most expensive (othell, feoh, yul), tanks and ISS are the ones that requires less gear and are the classes that ppl normally need..
For normal pve instances like kamaloka, baylor or kartia people tend to kick tanks from party, but in any competent to good cp you need a tank 100% sure, there's no way on top level you can pve/pvp w/o tank at all, even in some situation 2 tanks for pvp could be usefull
@tomukas10 hmm id say seer is like feoh and evi othel maybe ? tbh i have no idea, just checked and they are not specified in l2 wiki which class they belong to, hm so i gues it supose to be 10 classes not 8 as advertised in main page
Seer is like dager with magical damage and perma hide good for small pvp, evi is like titan with fists very good for single target pve.
Sayha seer is close quarter mage, you can relate it to a dagger with magic damage more or less, but with way less damage and more relying on debuffs in order to kill. You have hides and the class is quite strong in oly or 1v1 generally if played properly, but anything more than that it's just for annoying people / interrupting cresting in sieges or mass pvp's because you don't do much damage atm w/o debuffs on any target Evis is like Tyrr GK, insane damage for pve, good for 1v1/oly for the good damage / selfbuffs they have (some damage/debuff inmunity for around 10 secs + steel mind for 30-40 secs that you can't drop below 1 hp if it's up), for 7v7 can be really usefull if used properly and in mass pvp's if geared up properly and with good CP you can do a lot of damage to priority targets or supports
I don't think so, daggers and mages will be good in next update, and at start yuls until they get proper gear they won't be able to kill that much as you think (things like tauti ring, bless valakas, abundance lvl 1+, 7s+longing, pvp weapon or kelbim bow at start etc)
You're sooooooooooo right, that you probably have no idea You're right about the items that wont be here, but out of all pvp classes yul will be pretty much still killable by othell mostly. About that "Grand crusade boost" everyone is talking about - im not even sure if u'll feel the difference. Honestly, Salvation update with empowering echo will boost feohs, grand crusade is boosting daggers - slightly (additional skill for adventurer and wind rider for example). But still, good geared Yul will roll them easy
Daggers are getting changed, they boosted damage and introduced new skills but they deleted the change they had to crit on skills, they won't crit on dmg anymore, while mages got overall 50-70% dmg boost but in order to make damage you need to break the other pt's purge rotation and for that you will need at least a yul for sure
Hello, i have a question regarding my character. I want to start playing as Tyrr Maestro. If i use chaos essence on my Tyrr maestro and change to Tyrr titan, will i keep my craft skill?
Can you tell me where i should take a look to get the info about daggers boosted damage? Except for skills changes i didn't see anything. And these changes are mostly that, adventurer will have +20% attack in front and so on
GH in example will get a 1.3k range jump that will leave +100% crit dmg debuff on target in example, also their toggles for both WR+GH is getting +20% extra crit dmg
