Hi,
I managed to make frost work, you don't need to reinstall Windows from scratch.

In fact, they faced the same issue when Windows 10 was originally released and temporarily fixed in this thread: https://4gameforum.com/threads/522435/, where they suggested to remove a record from Windows Registry that says that the system was updated (indeed, the game works just fine with a clean installation).

The files to make this possible were since removed, but I managed to figure out by myself what registry keys you need to delete:

- Run regedit;
- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\ and expand it;
- There should be a folder named Policy, with 2 keys inside: BootUpgradedSystem and UpgradedSystem;
- Right click on the Policy folder and click "export" (it makes a backup of it);
- Delete the whole Policy folder;
- Restart.

Once they fix the issue with the update, you should restore it from the backup you made by double click the .reg file.

Of course, you do this at your own risk.
