GC Patch, Tauti & Kelbim upgrade.

Hi there, i was wondering, wasnt it originally the upgrade of both Tauti & Kelbim costing 3 crys?

I saw at first on NCW patch notes it was 5 for tauti and 10 crys for kelbim, but i assumed they adjusted the number of crys mainly due to drop value of kelbim weapons after the latest freya event there, where they did drop massively.

But what about here ? Patch notes also provide infos about 10 crys. Price is still "high" for kelbim weapons. We'll need, at best, 4 kelbim weaps to craft it (3 weaps for 9 crys) + the one you're upgrading, and in worst case 10 weaps + the one you're upgrading.

Didnt find any test yet about the chances of getting 1~3 cry, just saw a GM there making 6 tries and getting at fifth 2 crys only. (Better than nothing but still irrelevant)

Considering that, it would just lead us to a mid OE pvp weapon with a cost x2. (if we get over the +150 element and active skill spirit of kelbim)

Totally agree. i am guessing innova EU just blindly copies over NCW/RU server files, without bothering about the details. has to copy NCW/RU server files, cuz they're encrypted.

On NCW they messed up economy by giving away kelbims for free, basically. and that is the reason for NCW to increase the 10x kelbim crystals.

On innova EU, this free kelbims never happened; so lets look at the current hypothetical costs:

10x kelbim for crys = 110 billion
1x kelbim as weapon = 11 billion
1x insanity fragment = ? billion (we'll see how high this goes, 1-10b?)
800x giants = 800x5.5 = 4.4 billion

and if you are lucky u lower cost by getting 2-3 fragments on a kelbim crystalisation.
Normally its ~66% for 1x, ~25% 2x , ~10% 3x fragments (if you judge from other similar systems in game).

worst case cost: 125.4 bil + insanity fragment.
best case cost: 59.4 bil + insanity fragment.
avg case cost: ~100 bil + insanity fragment.


i am sure innova EU will change it to 3-5 kelbim crystals instead of 10. otherwise RIOT!

They have same license as NCW/RU right? if they do: That would enable them to ask for special requests, like economic changes due to other server policies.
And otherwise they could make it a 'contact GM to trade insanity kelbim for <items>'
just like the shirt thing in the past

 

u can riot as much as u want.. 1mont in ru prices are still the same 11kelbim weps to make new kelbim ^^

And yes it will be skipped, because you can make a pvp dagger+12 for the same price.

This aint true, If you consider tauti ~12b. Plus, a PVE retri would be waaaay more expensive whatever if you buy it or make it yourself. (If we forget red libra ofc)

And well, 110b for a topaz lvl 3 with 3 minute reuse. Wonder who would spend 110b for it.

 

12b for tauti (as cheap as u can get it) need 5 crystals(at least 2 weps) +1 wep to have so its 36-72b lets be realistic if u lucky u get 1x double crystals so price 60b +materials needed, pve retri +12 max 50-55b price, after libra even lower so if 72b for tauti u still left with 15b+ for 2x lv7 sa +for augmenting what u want

about kelbims 7k dmg each 3min over celes and etc is alot.. specialy for some classes in oly (sayha/dager) which dont even need to come close if have "topaz" in inventory, that weapon definitely not for open pvp cause u can make pvp wep+12.. but it has some use, and if u dont make it doesnt mean there aren't rich enough ppl to waste 100b for their own pleasure in oly

before some ppl were runing with extra tauti wep in inventory at oly (even if they dont use it) now gona be new meta insane kelbim in inventory

 

You really thought, even 3s, people would run with extra insane kelbim like they used to for the knock of tauti in oly? Comparing 12b vs 110b ?

I wont learn you anything you're here for longer than me. Core isnt running 4 RL per year like NCW. Price of retri will goes down after RL but finally ending to get up again. Look at now, no RL for 1 year+ i suppose, not even talking about price (even if i believe people simply wouldnt sell their pve retri+12 55b) it is just impossible to find out a retri +12 for sale.

Side note; at first kelbim and tauti aint pve purpose. Thats why we're comparing kelbim with poor OE pvp. So to be more accurate you should compare with Pvp retri, even tho i dont see why anyone would run with a pvp retri on a fighter melee dd beside our lovely crazy czoro.

same as dragon weapons look in youtube how archers clear kamaloka with lv1 dragon weap in under 2min.. or how in ru with lindvior lv3 bow clears kamaloka in <50s(which 90% of time is runing upstairs).. those weps were made for pvp and killing dragons but...

we will see in 2-3 months im sure there will be few insane kelbims and few tautis

 

i disqualify dragon weapons to make a point, since those are like 3x-5x dmg compared to anything, and rediculously unobtainable :+)

if you would put a price tag on a level 3 bow, what would it be?

kelbim too expensive yes.. no one will make it? - no, some1 is rich enough and like nonsences and he will make it

 

Few answers:

a) chance for obtaining crystal is: 1 = high, 2 average, 3 low...
- People in NC complain about the low chance of getting more than 1 crystal from weapon.

b) Crystals are tradeable: so if you do the mistake and start collecting them in first place without having enough adena around - you can always sell the crystals.

c) Additional question is: Will Innova implement the Frenzied Kelbim/Tauti Fragments into some event or will those be ridiculously hard to obtain (I dont even know the normal route of getting those - other than event).
-10 Frenzied Fragments is needed for making a complete Frenzied stone. You need that in addition to the Tauti/Kelbim Crystals etc.


Did you guys forget the Upgradeable Shadow weapons? I had the new Enhanced Shadow Fighter already in NC... pretty amazing to see how some people do 12minute Eviscerator NM kama's with those^_^ 150extra attribute, around 15% more damage, and 5% crit damage multi. GG

For the Enhanced Shadow Weapon you need Enhanced Shadow Ingot and an improved (+10 shadow made into tradeable version) shadow weapon. Small mystery for me is how to obtain the Enh. Ingot other than from event.

The new shadow ingot will be the reward of a new quest chain. Additionally it will be introduced into the new auction system.
