Long Hiatus, very confused

I left like 2 years ago ona break from game and now I see 4game has 2 servers (core and ramoana) AND a classic server

Can someone please explain differences? thanks

 

Core and Ramona follow the official path of updates on Lineage 2 around the world ( Grand Crusade is the "chapter/chronicle" we are right now, like on Russian server and NCwest[NA]). Core server is around for years ( not exactly how many, but i believe it opened around 2011~2012) and the Ramona server opened in March of this year.

The Classic servers follow a different path of updates and are subscription based(pay to play). They have the idea of linking the "old lineage" style ( very low exp, almost no exp or itens on L2 store) with new graphics ( updated post- Goddess of Destruction)
