I think the % of successful catches of fish is nerfed. I noticed from yesterday that i'm failing a lot of fishing attempts, 5-7 sequential fails (the fish got away - 7 times in a row) What do you think guys?
Maybe you dont have Shots ? I didnt noticed anything When i checking my current character that are fishing right now, and checkign how much batis used and have fishes its all ok. Here is my table about power fish and success rate of fish (excluding boxes)
I found out that is you fish in aden or you leave the window on focus the rates are lower, below 80%, not much though, about 75-76, if I put the window in the bar to use lower power and keep cpu cooler, the rate is at or very close to 80% in Heine. I mean, out of 10 k baits i get about 8k catches, +/- 100 or so maximum but usually within 20-30 deviation. This is very important for heine baits where i kept rigorous tracking, but it seems to apply roughly to other baits, regular, r99, PA. The only one i didn't use was embryo, but i suspect rates are similar. Note: Since i saw the lower rate in aden and on focus i switched to the other way so it might have been an aberration due to low sample.
Guys what I'm missing on fishing? I'm doing quest for the first time; i have the rod, the baits and the shots. I go to the shore and see the fishing icon (while equipping all the fishing item) then i click it but the icon desappear and the char doesn't start to fish? What is my mistake?
