Lower lvl raids, wynn > evis (unless the lower lvl evis uses the expertise rune & mid-top r99 gear + nice R jewels, or better, is a downlvled evi on top of that), you just need to remember to always check and re-toggle beast shots, they are horribly bugged Higher lvl raids, evis > wynn, even with top gear, but as @cmec1 mentioned, it's debatable, even considering mid gear, depends on the wynn and party setup as well (2 wynns + two to four boxed pom isses + SOS tank, etc.) PVP... that is a difficult question. Evis are tricky to play in oly, wynns require a tonload of brains. (To know when and whether to set pets on Defend or Passive mode, for instance.) Wynns are completely useless in mass pvp. Evis are moderately useless in mass pvp unless your skills are not on cooldown. Solo PVP... it's balanced, more or less, wynns can still win every solo duel or match if they only have brains or the balance (you vs opponent) of making mistakes in combat leans in favour of the wynn. PVE farming? Well, wynns have a slight advantage of ranged pets, ranged attacks, and some minor aoe damage. And with transformations + good self-buffs, they can make up for and overtake evis's 1-to-1 damage (transforms boost ranged damage from ranged pets considerably) in solo (or soloed party) hunting zones.
