Hi, i was looking for a fresh start on a L2 official server and then, lucky me, a new server on EU was announced. I have some questions: - If i buy PA for 1 day can power level to lvl 85? - How demanded are ISS Spectral dancer mains? -Is possible to enjoy the game without l2store? (If i need to spend 300 euros to enjoy the game, steam is full of those for 40€) - Do you really need a CP to progress in the game? (I'm kind of casual player) Thanks for your answers!
1) Yes its enought you can create char with Balthus quest and get 85 lvl in maybe 20 min max 2)I dont know or someone using this iss becouse we need pom/crier/or wizard lvl 2 3)Depends what you want from that game but i say if you spend 200eu every month , after one year you can start enjoy the game if you are in pve clan or you making pvp not vs "top" clans 4)Yes you need cp
Replies on 3 and 4 is some utter ********. You need those to be highly competitive, but you dont need those to have fun in the game.
Fun is subjective. If you have fun farming kartia every day, you can spend 0. If you like to carpet after every 1shot, you can spend 0. But in case you want to pvp and actually kill some1, you have to spend Euro or play this game with a hardcore cp for hours everyday or play the market solo and even then, nothing can beat Euro.
200e/month is a lot lol, with this kind of money you can be a top DD, maybe not THE top dd ( fully geared dragon weapon etc), but it's enough to play in top clans and pvp for sure. And if you play support it's even better.
******** if you count 200eu/month and adena 1:100 so you can get ~20b in one month greater ruby cost around 90b saph ~70b? some +10 l set i think around 50b,ruler belt 40b,epic jewel set maybe ~ 80b? weapon ~ 50b put 7s venir, dyes , abudance when you count everything that 200eu in one month after one year giv you some advance vs randoms nothing more . if you wana play just iss 200eu in one month after one year you already have smth to do smth and enjoy
Yeah but who will have this so quick on a new server ? 10 ppl ? 200/month is gonna put you ahead of 90% of the server already, that's enough to have fun and pvp. You seem to think to have fun and pvp on top lvl you need to be the most stacked toon on server, that's not true, top clans are carried by a handful of heavy donors/nolifers but the majority of their players are way below that.
with brooches and other p2w stuff you just show how handles you are if you can't win equal geared peoples. especially in new server
"enjoying the game" is very subjective. Some people only enjoy the game if they are 1-shotting people and get to see all the crying flood in. Some people enjoy enchanting gear so they are all shiny, then stand in town 90% of the time (or so it seems). Some people are very social and play for that. Some people log in, look for a party and if they cannot find one, they get upset, declare the game dead, and quit. Of course these people never start a party, they just expect one to be there, magically waiting for them. You probably don't need a CP, but you do need to build a friendslist and maintain relationships in the game to advance. Every CP I've ever joined was always 3 actives and the rest not so much. I suppose it's different in the no-lifer CP's but then you have to be a no-lifer too.

I saw tarot list, some people said they're fair, others said that they're OP, i don't really know but after playing on Ramona for almost 2 months i didn't even touched a r99 weapon/armor and they're on the Tarot list. I guess i'm gona give a try like a lot of people more but when people like me that is trying the server before buying anything gets one shooted or denied in parties because of gear, i don't think we gona stay that much on the server.
And again. Don't miss the point. It's how YOU want to have fun. You can have fun paying exactly 0eyros and doing your stuff, or you can have fun paying euros on l2store or RMT.
L2 is a competitive game and i would like to be decent in that competition. I can afford buying half l2store but i don't like the "need" of buying things to beat someone. In any competitive game, CS:GO, LOL, even Fortnite when you lose you have the feel of (Oh man, i need to improve, i could have done this or that this beat him) but in Lineage2 you get shooted for 400k damage and your face says it all for you. To progress in L2 you need time and luck, i'm fine with that but if playing for 2 months like i did in Ramona i got 0 drops/pack r99 doing everything dialy, running in TW set while there was a lot of people running on shiny r99 armors and weapons, something was wrong Thanks for your answers again guys
If you dont plan to race with the donators, then I guess you don't have to worry about them, you'll never meet them in open fields. That's what I'm going to do - play at my own tempo. Yes, will get 1-shot many times, but who cares.
I played on Chronos few months ago (from 0 while everyone has +20 weapons and pathetic donator ********) and In very few months i was still able to get enhanced shadow retri, some decent jewels, int +15, etc. The only thing I bought was PA and 1 pack from heine fishing event just to jumpstart my leveling since I made a sayah/wynn to begin with. I gained a massive amount of time but only got 4-5bil from the event which is nothing for the price of the pack I bought. In any case, I was smart with the 4-5bil and kept trying to find a way to make adena and eventually I did and I was able to slowly gain adena then I was able to get enhanced shadow retri from good trades and was on my way to PVE retri but I quit before due to the fact that I was kinda bored and, really, people were WAY to ahead even at my pace I would not be able to reach them in years. This new server is the only light of hope but people are being really negative about it. It *****, I understand them, l2store ruined the game an I will always hate NcSoft decision to nerf in-game drops to the abyss to force people to gamble for eternity.
People are negative, because this server will end like 2 earlier, ones it was (Aria-not sure) and Ramona which died day after tarots announce, not counting brooches and other **** which annoyed many players from day 1. Oh right I forgot about foreign servers xD, so to precise core isn't server 2in1 but 5in1, cause many players count core as (Core+Ramona) list is pretty longer than that.
