You are correct, for about 12 hours my char used about 1400 baits. And got about 1120 fish.
As new player here I can't afford to fish in this event...
Also, I'd prefer cocktails as item that I could use manually.. I'm wasting 1/6 of its duration to reach the exp spot and I need to go back if I wanna exp with it for more than 50minutes.
Herbs are awesome tho. Great exp boost.
Oh they work like that? Dammit I was thinking of buying 100s of them to use until my WC gets CoV
Have Someone problems in buying fishing stuff (rune/pole) from store?
So you have to go back to town to get another cocktail? What if you're somewhere like LoA?
The obvious thing, and what most players would assume would be the case is that you buy the cocktails and keep them in your inventory for use whenever you need them. I can't think of any reason why they decided not to make it that straightforward.
80% success is a joke . Maybe 30%
Actually, this event is a waste of money.
Man, use fish shot. 28/ea
You will get around 80% but you have to use both the special bait and fishing shots. Otherwise you get around 40%. You are probably right the event is still a waste of money, though.
Its more of a waste if you don't use shots, especially at 250a a bait!
Using the event bait and fishing shots I got 4022 tuna out of 5000 tries, almost exactly 80%.
They are useless.
Lots of summoner can get you back quick... I remember first time they had event we would waste 5-10 min running to spot.
The only things farmed are the bananas. They drop so often this amounts to a continuous buff. They could have an NPC stand in town and give out the buff for free instead of pretending there is a real farm component to this. At the very least they should have made the special buffs purchasable with bananas instead of with spirit ore. This event is not quite useless, but Innova could do so much better. Like I said earlier, sad that they haven't. All we can do is request changes and hope the next event is better.
@Artchem: Thank you for the great event [good SP and Adena ]
