I'm showcasing in the table below how much you can improve your damage as an archer. Arguably I'm well geared, so you can see how big the damage you can gain from seemingly small bonuses is.
nice table. detail though: 9% skill power is not 9% dmg. neither is 10% p.atk. lets for example take 10% p.atk and lets say you have 100k p.atk ur new p.atk will be 110k, -p. crit dmg is is 10% higher. -p. skill crit dmg for pinpoint shot (62k) is 6% higher ( 110k + 62k = 172k -> 10k/162k*100%= 6,17% ) lets for example take 10% skill power ontop of 100k p.atk -p. crit dmg is 0% higher -p. skill crit dmg for pinpoint shot (62k) is 4% higher (100k + 62k+6.2k = 168.2k -> 6.2k/162k*100% = 3.7% ) lets take 10% skill crit dmg ontop of 100k p.atk -p.crit dmg is 0% higher -p.skill crit dmg is 10% higher ((100k + 62k)1.1 - > 178k -> 16.2/162*100% = 10%) but its hard to keep calculating this across the sheet
Yeah, +6% dmg for +10% p.atk is what I count with as well. According to my tests (I can show the data if anyone is curious) with my gear and normal pvp/pve setup +x% p.atk is always more than +0.6x% dmg. Also if you get for example from five different sources 10% p.atk then you have to count with 10%^5 and not 10%*5. This is why I added the p.atk parameter on the top of the overall p.atk boost I can gain. +x% skill power is +x% dmg, if you know otherwise, can you show proof? +x% skill crit dmg is working normally as it is also (+x% dmg on crits).
i mean in hi5 was enough to get vorpal set and +10 vesper bow. baium aq and go pew pew. and now.. well. now even dragon bow lv3 is not enough. c4 was golden age for archers. drac bow +3, maj set, aq+baium and you hit 2k for IC tanks.
https://eu.4gameforum.com/threads/660107/ i knew this for a while, but here it is, there is a formula mentioned so with higher p.atk, go for p.atk % bonus instead of p.skill power bonus and of course always go for p.skill crit dmg if you want high crits cuz p.atk/p.skillpower are always less
You can read there also that: It is also important to clarify: "Power" enchant has NOTHING to do with a statistic called "P. Skill Power" (like here Hunting Instinct - Yul Moonlight Sentinel ), the second stat is in the "bonuses" section and scales nicely with everything. Meaning +x% skill power is +x% damage on a sayha talisman for example.
despite that comment in that thread, which can be interpreted in any way ; he puts the formula as the following: The "Power" enchant simply increases [base skill power], so in our case it increases 43077 by 20%: (a*[43077*1.2] + b*[P.Atk])*bonuses*penalties = (a*[51692] + b*[P.Atk])*bonuses*penalties which tells us the other one, so which is it? i'm confused is that only for the skill enchanting to power? seems it explicitly must be called "power" only for one base skill power and p.skill power x% is x% ok ok
Yes, only the power skill enchant works that way. In general skill power increases the overall damage.
I tested artifact skill power 11%. And it gives exactly 11% dmg boost on skill dmg. About skill critical dmg, it is like 15-16% boost.
