Note: Fishing is available to premium users only! 1. Get a Golden Mermaid's Magic Bait! To participate in the promo you'll need a Golden Mermaid's Magic Bait. It can be obtained from the Fisher Peeves in Heine. In return Peeves will need a Golden Mermaid's Magic Bait Coupon. Exchange rate: Coupons can be purchased on L2 Store (Core only). Coupons can be purchased by a character of any level. You can choose between three Coupon Packs: x100, x150 & x1000, which contain Fishing Shots and other useful items for fishing. Having bought a sufficient number of coupons, speak with the Fisher Peeves in Heine to exchange coupons for Golden Mermaid's Magic Baits of the desired grade. The exchange rate is 1 to 1. 2. Let's go fishing! Armed with everything you need, let's go fishing! You can fish either in Heine or in any other place where fishing is allowed – there is no binding to the location. Also, the Fishing Rod type and the usage of Fishing Shots do not matter in participating in the promotion, the main condition for obtaining special rewards of the promotion is the use of Golden Mermaid's Magic Bait. There are 5 kinds of Golden Mermaid's Magic Bait for each level range: Baits have no upper level limit. This means that the bait (85) can be used even at level 110. However, there is a lower level limit which means that the bait (102) cannot be used below level 102.This time a special server setting is applied: the base fishing success rate has increased from 40% to 60%! This means that with the Fishing Shots (+40%) the final fishing success rate will be 100%!Below is the description of the basic Treasure Chest you'll be getting upon fishing with the new baits: From this box you'll get a Heine Fishing Coin (x 3) at 100% rate: and at a certain rate from the basic box you'll get a Special Golden Treasure Chest (x 1): Using the new bait, you will get a lot more EXP and SP for fishing than using regular baits. Peeves' Store This time the Fisher Peeves' store has been enriched with new useful items that will be useful to every skilled fisherman in Elmoreden! This awesome place is called the Fantasy Fishing Spot! What is the difference between fishing on regular spots and on the Fantasy one? On the Fantasy Fishing Spot you'll be getting 3 times more EXP/SP with any bait - regular or event ones (check out the EXP table above)! However, you can get to the Fantasy Fishing Spot only if you have a special item in your inventory – a Fantasy Fishing Spot Entrance Pass, which can be purchased for Heine Fishing Coins from the Fisher Peeves. The Entrance Passes are sold packed, the timer starts once the pack is opened. You can choose from 4 types of passes: 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours. When the Entrance Pass timer expires, the character will be moved back to the Fantasy Isle. Restarting the game also moves the character to the Fantasy Isle teleport spot. The fishing spot is a peaceful zone. Got your Entrance Pass? Then go fishing! Speak to NPC Paddy and click the link "I want to go to a Fantasy Fishing Spot" in the dialog. Fishing with a new Golden Mermaid's Magic Bait will give you a Golden Treasure Chest from which you are guaranteed to get 3 Heine Fishing Coins and with a certain probability a Special Golden Treasure Chest. Base fishing time: 105 seconds. Fishing waiting time: 15 seconds. Total: 120 seconds. When using a regular fishing rod + Golden Mermaid's Magic Bait, total fishing time is reduced to 60 seconds. When using the Fancy Fishing Rod + Golden Mermaid's Magic Bait, total fishing time is 25 seconds. 2. We recommended that you use a Fancy Fishing Rod to minimize fishing time. 3. Golden Mermaid's Magic Bait can be used to complete quests of the Fishing Guild Faction. 4. Golden Mermaid's Magic Bait have no upper level limit: for example, the bait (85) can be used up to level 110, but the experience gain will be much less than when using the bait of an appropriate grade. It is recommended to use the bait of an appropriate grade. 5. The only possible reward you can catch with a Golden Mermaid's Magic Bait are 3 Heine Fishing Coins + Golden Treasure Chest (no fish and etc). 6. A special server setting is applied during the promo period (March 13 ~ April 3): the base fishing success rate has increased from 40% to 60%.
