    Hello!
My Antivirus detected and blocked "C:\Program Files (x86)\Innova\4game2.0\bin\gameManager\gameManager.exe" as a virus with Trojan.GenericKD.41943317 . So I uninstalled 4games client. Then I tried to reinstalled the 4games client. The antirius found and blocked a virus in the installation even "C:\Program Files (x86)\Innova\4game2.0\bin\.inn.tmp.dir\{44}pack-06". So I suspect you got a virus on your server.
    Best regards /Ante

What antivirus do you use? Try to upload this file to virustotal and check there.

There are no viruses on server, it would be too much noticeable if not.

Be careful with your personality data.
Perhaps this is due to recent events on the forum, when rss mailing came from an attacker, and not from the administration.

    jjHello,

    I have a similar situation:

    Problem

Did you handle it somehow? Can anyone help me?

P.S. Support suggests adding antivirus to exceptions. Somehow I don't want to, I want to do it.

Hello. I dont get it...You don't want to add that folder to exceptions?
This is kind of common problem - the method of file unpacking resembles virus. This problem mostly occurs BitDefender antivirus.
Usually, adding 4game2.0 folder to exceptions helps.
Otherwise - you can send whole folder to your antivirus software developer. Usually, they have special form for that.

    Hello,

I understand. And everything is clear to me like the sun.

However, please understand me, I'm afraid to add such things to exceptions. What is the guarantee that there is no virus in your files? None. If every hacker asked to add their files to exceptions, what would it be? I just mean that I have no guarantee and I do it at my own risk.

The more so that there has never been such a problem. And I've been playing L2 for quite some time. I have BitDefender antivirus for a very long time. He had not previously reported such a situation.

To break up, I will give an example:
"A thief will never say he wants to rob us" Isn't he?

I understand perfectly that I have two solutions:
    1. Make exceptions and keep playing
    2. Stop playing at L2

I see your point, and I do understand your concerns. However, BitDefender antivirus uses its own statistics, based on its users to analyze files.
We have contacted BitDefender developers and sent them info on your case along with our files. Right now we are waiting for their answer. At the same time, we will continue our own investigation.
Thank you for letting us know about this issue, stay in touch for an update.
