This is not a bug, that is the current look of the Samurai Long Sword in all official Lineage 2 servers. The one you want is called Black Samurai Long Sword and is usually used for events or as a temporal weapon.
I really don't get why Devs did quite a ****ty job on this things. BD animation for dances has changed into...idk, a sort of "attack" animation...same thing goes for guard crush and poison blade dance that gets really ugly animation...the old ones were far better than this! And yeah, this thing that Kat*Kat are looking the same as the SLS*SLS is really...stupid. Instead of improving the "graphic quality" of the game, they just mess it up lol.
By the way the current look was the same as from Prelude and C1, I'm not sure when it got changed to Black Samurai Long Sword and now is back as original.
Well actually i noticed a little difference between the 2 swords...which is so small that it's hard to notice : the grip of the SLS is blue while the grip of tha katana is red.
