Its the same treatment?

Guys lets start a new poll with an anolagy.

Two people go to the same restaurant. Client A orders a menu of 5$ , Client B orders a menu of 10$.

Client A has acess to the complete variaty of menus costing 5$, Client B has to eat what they put in front of them to eat.

Does it look like the same treatment? Well, i think not.

But lets get back to Lineage 2 world. Russian clients always paid less for both subscriptions and items, but still they are offered information pre-release.Anoucements of release.

Europeans clients dont. Even when thty always paid more for the same service, they are still limited on the service provided by the same company.

Does it look like fair treatment?

Well our dear CM Artchem, write to everyone reading Discord, that Innova is not obligated to provide such service as information of the game you are playing ( example L2 wiki essence) by internal (not revealed policies) , smells fishy right? At least you would think so, if this was any other kind of service.


You can bet this poll is gonna be deleted as soon as possible by admins, still i wanted to alert everyone up for the problem in our hands. Its all up to you guys to demmand answers. Like i do, everyone should, is your money on the line.

So what you think guys? Is the treatment fair?

It's called price discrimination
A company selling almost the same product for different prices for different target.
The goal is the maximize their profit.

Innova is a private/for-profit company.

 

I'm quite sure that the prices are "modified" based on the "life quality" of the country. For example : prices for NA servers are WAY higher than EU server. Prolly in America, the medium salary is higher than in europe. In our case (at least in italy) it goes around 800-1300 euros per month (for a normal job, like employee in a shop/store, for example) so...in the case of the one who earn 1300 per month, 100 euros for their favorite game wont (should) not be a problem. The game is free to play, if you pay the price of a new game for PS4 or any other platform, you'll end up paying 60-70 euros, but let's say 50. With 50 euros per month, you can still try quite some stuffs here. You can gear up urself to top B with 30 euros (weapon C+7, full set B and jewels B) and you will also have some extra coins. With the remaining 20 euros you can buy buff scrolls, boosts or SG pots from the boxes, for now.

Russians are poor, their country is generally poor. This is the reason why most of the RMTer are russians. Because they can get quite a good profit from the game by doing...nothing.

For example, in the RU store, the package with C+7 weapon costs 450 rub (w/e is their currency) which is 6.50 euros. In our store, the item cost 9.00 euros. But i'm pretty sure that the life cost in RU is higher than in other places, like, if i'm not wrong, the medium salary in RU is around...730 euros/800 dollars? So if you want to buy, for example, 10 boxes of the C grade package, you'll spend 4500 rubs (around 1/10 of the medium salary) while with euros, you'll end up spending 90 euros, again, around 1/10 of the medium salary.

So i don't really see the difference here. Eventually you'll have a huge boost if you were a RU playing in a RU server living and earning the salary of a NA/EU guy. And, again, that's the reason why RUs are mostly RMTer who gets pay in dollars/euros.

 

For who missed the point:

- i am not discussig prices, i am discussing that even by paying more we have been told that we dont deserve the same type of service that other region, that in this case, for example, pay less than us.


I dont care about if i pay more or less i iust want to be serviced the same way!

 

@_6aHaH, no, we couldn't promise to launch l2 wiki in English.

@HundredBeasts, I didn't write the company is not obligated to provide information. Please, read attentively. I said that L2wiki is an optional tool and not all region publishers (even Korean L2) have their own database. European L2 Essence is one of them.
We continue to look for the best way to provide information about the game. Most of the information can be found in the game/ release notes/ the forum. Some questions can be asked to other players in our social networks (the forum, discord or facebook). If you think, that some articles are critically important but you can't find answers in available resources, please, let me know I will try to help and invent something.
