Daggers.

    What about sharing your experience on gear for pve\pvp, experience on char tests etc.

    +++ weapon max atk spd no ss only auto attack works fine for pve

    What about dyes? Seems both str and dex a bit useless. Same goes for a grade set, would combo u wear? Gauntles nigthmare tallum heavy boots majestic leather and nigth helm? Full str full dex or a combo. And were you use lvl points? Maybe full con?
    About sas obviusly vital spot + haste? Hp?

    If you are not going to waste lots of real money after the dagger, quit it already as it's useless. Essence is a version that lack of game balance and allows lowlifers like Elemental masters to hit 3k m.def for 1000 per nuke w/o critical (which means 3k from critical + pony hitting for 1-3k or even more with auto attacks and splash) and find that only in how much you spend for ur char.

    Daggers are the most nerfed class (and i play as dagger since like...almost ever, as main) since they removed all the pros of being daggers but kept the cons.

    Skills can fail, and even with a huge 150%+ blow land rate, you will still fail 3-4 skills out of 10.
    Skill crt rate is somehow lower than other classes since DKs and Duelists seems to have way more rate (STR is not affecting it, but if anyone got official tests for essence, i'll gladly rethink).
    Nerfed skills such as Shadow step (slow effect, 60 secs delay, land rate 10%), trick/switch effect removed, Mirage effect removed and bluff land rate is around 40-50% on players w/o MJ. If you fight vs MJ, gl.
    Last and not least, vs lots of class (due to all the changes also in the buffs) daggers got a huge disadvantage : if the enemy is even a little more geared or slightly more levelled than you, you're dead. Not to mention vs tanks that you are gonna get the hit blocked or dodged with a 100% rate, there's no way you can land a full dmg on tank. GH has good dmg with full boost but nothing else. WR has lower dmg (not even that much) but also get a broken dodge on 79.

    This, compared to any other class, makes the daggers the worst class to play in essence. Obv, all because other classes got boosted in classic and essence, while only daggers are getting the nerfs.

    If after this you still wanna play dagger, quick hint for make it worth : Donate. Like a lot. Top daggers in server (blue) are all over 10.000 euros wasted to gear up. Lightning armor, Naga storm 5++ with 2 or 3 SA, epic jewels, baium talisman and lot of p2w items and melissas. This is the only way to make a dagger worth.

    If you're still here, tho, little tips :

    Dyes are last of ur problem.
    STR is useless since it gives you no buff at all. Tried 70 STR and 50 STR, no difference. You barely lose a few p.atk points which wont make any difference even with auto attacks. As for blows, there is no dmg increasment and the crt rate of skill is not increased. At 70 STR you unlock +200 crt dmg, which kinda add a dmg between 100-200 to ur blows. At 90 STR you unlock 10% skill power which is actually impossible to get.
    DEX increases blow land rate (tested) so you don't want to lose too much of it. But also increasing it it's not really worth.
    CON is the last stat you might find usefull which is probably the best path you can go. Go hit 50 CON to trigger the p.def +200 and to gain some good HP pool, than invest other points elsewhere.
    Due to the low resistance you have (ultimate evasions are basically useless as they will still hit you almost 100%) you might as well raise ur MEN a bit (to hit +200 m.def).
    WIT and INT are useless.

    Gear wise, if we ignore the "special armor" like lightning and gloves of silence (which are a must), you might as well chose betwen 2 different main armor (MJ and NM) which you will switch in pvp. For pve it doesn't matter. For other parts, i don't know why you should get Tallum heavy boots as they are useless so you'd rather go NM to gain some vampiric (usefull for place like epic trascendence where you will most likely die if you start to miss 3-4 blows in a row. And that happens A LOT) or MJ light for some extra critical power or NM heavy if you want some reflect dmg (might be worth on GH with counter attack to reflect 25% of dmg...even tho you're too squishy so you end up dying anyway and that 25% is useless).

    SAs you're forced to go Othell for blow land rate and as 2nd you're free to chose based on ur play style. Tyrr for atk spd (8% atk spd, for me, is around 40-60 atk spd), Yul for extra crt dmg (which works as the 70 STR, which means that if you get a yul with 260++ crt dmg, you'll gain an increase of 100-200 dmg per blow) or Sigel for HP (didn't test it but more or less if it gives you 10% extra HP you'll gain between 600-900 HP, i think).

    Basically daggers here lacks lot of power which can be found only into p2w items. Losing extra buffs like Dance of Fire, Prophecy, Counter critical and Cat buff really gave us a huge nerf, if you add to it the fact that we are losing skills every patch...well. With the same amount of money wasted on a dagger (so with same gear), classes like Summoners, duelists, prophets or sorc would do 10x times better.
    Let's see if something will change with 18th's patch (buff on shadow step delay and failing a blow will result in a standard critical damage like if you were to crit an auto-attack) and with KRs class rework that is bit by bit improving classes every week.

    I have to agree with mr haseo !
    I play daggers classes from c1 client from many many years and first time I see assasin class at ANY GAME can kill almost nothing 1v1
    the nerfs from adventure make full no sense
    dush????? -50% from 66 to 30 (a bladedancer maybe run faster than me)
    tricks????? the best skill for dagger class IS NOT WORKING ( how I play vs cladiator and tyrant/destro without tricks??just I have no change...how I use my backstap anyway??)
    mirage???? it's ok,but my blows miss a lot anyways (kind useless)
    ultimate evasion???? ALL other classes have no miss skill (its like no working) plz test this 40% at least maybe dagger vs dagger works

    ps If any of essence team/4game team or whatever "manager" READ THIS
    I refuse to learn empower and wild magic buff (special to buy the spellbooks!) make me feel fool, someone of you explain me why add this to dagger class iam not get it!
    unlock skill lvl 14????to unlock what?????? WTF MAN

    Well yeah every class with 10k euro is worth to play.
    Was wondering wich kind of setup would fill better as dagger. Also tested improving str or dex both seems a bit useless.
    Was thinking on go +str - dex and haste as second sa. Hp with 2k shield + l2 store items should not be a problem with scrolls and transforms can get 11k+3k cp w/o problems.

    About armor was wondering a lot since passive looks useless. If heavy is worth to instead of light. Till ligthing armor ofc

    I know that trick shadow step etc is nerfed. But im playing with confusion and works pretty well at least at the moment. Didn't fought vs top donators yet.

    I can agree with Haseo on most of the parts.
    Its just sad that theres no information on how daggers and their skills actually work. I wish a developer or someone else would explain it to us.
