MENTORING SYSTEM

- they need proper training, though. i think i'll be finding a mentor for my son when he's grown a bit.

- a mentor? - the orc sounded surprised.

- yes. you know, one of those mighty fighters who have seen the real world out there and have been through a lot. quite often they search for apprentices to give their knowledge and experience to. to pass on their legacy, so to speak.

the orc looked excited. that would be a wonderful opportunity for his son, he thought. a real mentor! who could have thought...

the kids were laughing merrily as they played. a quite creepy grin that stands for an orkish smile slowly stretched across his face.



mentoring system starts working from 4th september.

characters eligible to become a mentor: level 86 and higher
character eligible to become a mentee: below level 85

mentee certificate will be given automatically to all characters below level 85 and all newly-created characters. it will be placed in private warehouse.

mentor can have up to 3 mentees at a time.

every time mentee levels up mentor receives a certain amount of mentee's marks via mail (remember not to overload your mailbox, for otherwise you might not be able to receive letters with mentee's marks), that can be exchanged for certain items.

when both mentee and mentor are in the game, they get certain buffs.
mentee receives: mentor's horn melody, mentor's drum melody, mentor's pipe organ melody, mentor's guitar melody, mentor's harp melody, mentor's lute melody, mentor's guidance (200% xp, sp).
mentor receives: mentee's appreciation (10% xp, sp).

upon reaching level 86, mentee's certificate is exchanged for proof of graduation at mentor guide (situated in towns not far from gatekeeper), which can be exchanged for equipment.

if mentee leaves mentor before due time (that is, without normal graduation), mentor cannot take a new mentee for 7 days.
when mentee graduates normally, mentor should wait 5 days before he can take up a new mentee.

lol too late, i left game as many others. to all ppl who still play: enjoy it

 

half year complaining about mentoring, wanting to have it. and now you will have it you complain because there are not lvl 85-? quite weird.

 

this day has finally come.

 

some can only complain. this is the truth. they only need wood (their useless brain) and some spark (read/heard/guesses anything about any topic) to build flames (qq). well, to be constructive more, can i ask the details of mentoring here on 4game's l2? i mean i can ready about mentoring on ncsoft's webpage but as we may have noticed, there are differences here... so, can you, team of 4game, enlight the details?

 

but one thing will be true, how many mentee are on our world? i think this all mentor is just to late

 

so make boxes and exp them. tadaaa you have mentee xd

gibly what part of "all characters below 85" you did not understand?
if you are 86+ by default you can be only mentor, not mentee.

 

this bonus is 10%
