Experiment 23 Dual Weapons Damage Rate (Swords and Blunt Weapons)

'i don't know about this. this is... odd,' said a dwarf-girl.

'what's odd? we're just going to see a simple match,' yumi replied.

'but, you know, we're two girls and there'll be so many men staring at us, thinking we're weird. 'cause that's not what ladies go see, you know. it's not ballet or something...' the girl was hesitant and slightly nervous under yumi's gaze.

'ballet?! who cares about ballet? these are real fights! this is really interesting stuff! come on, you said you'd go.'

'i know, i know... it's just... i'm just not used to such places.'

'places-shmaces. come on, it'll be fun!' encouraged yumi.

her friend seemed to show signs of readiness to give up.

'if you don't like it, i won't drag you to any of those ever again. promise,' it was yumi's final attempt to convince her friend.

there was a minute's silence.

'oh, ok, let's go,' the girl agreed reluctantly. 'but if it's awful, we'll never go there again.'

'never,' beamed yumi.

'anyway, who's that fighter you want to see?'

'oh, it's a tyrr warrior, he is really good with dual weapons, can't wait to see! you're going to love it!' yumi was so excited now.

'yeah, we'll see...'



the purpose of this test is to see how damage depends on dual weapon types, sa and enchantment level.

character: lvl 99 orc tyrr warrior, equipped with eternal heavy set attack, dual sword and dual blunt with different sa applied.
tyrr warrior is buffed with iss buff lvl 4

target: lvl 99 orc yul archer, equipped with eternal light set enchant

yul archer’s (buffed with iss buff 4 lvl) stats:



skill being used: mega strike

test: tyrr warrior attacks yul archer with mega strike using dual swords and dual blunts without soulshot, the weapon is without attribute.

here are three tables that represent the damage rate for dual sword and dual blunt with different enchantment level and sa.

conclusion: when the weapon's enchantment level is below +4, damage inflicted by dual swords and dual blunts is equal with the same sa or with sa that do not enhance the character's p.atk. however, after the weapon has been enchanted to +4, damage inflicted by dual blunts is greater than that inflicted by dual swords by about 20% for the same sa or sa that do not enhance the character's p.atk. when the weapon is enchanted to +16, the difference in inflicted damage goes down to 17%.

 

i have tested for myself the damage diference between dual blunts +0 to +4, and its about 3-4%. so, almost the same from dual swords +0 to +4, so there is almost no diference between dual blunts and swords damage inflinted enchanted both to +4...
