    it was a clear, crispy morning. yumi came out of her tent in archaic laboratory and took a deep breath of fresh, cool air. the sky was bright blue; the sun was rising. what a wonderful morning for jogging.

    yumi did a little bit of outdoors stretching and ran. she took her favourite route: along the road with snowy hills and trees on the sides. her breath was coming out of her mouth in little clouds of steam. it was a good time to think about things, make plans for the day, the whole of which was still ahead of her, have ideas for new gadgets and tests.

    yumi did several laps and then came to a short halt near her tent. she picked up a shield that lay near the entrance, strapped it to her back and prepared to run again - she did running with weights. that was part of her ongoing training. not that she was preparing for a marathon or something, but that was her healthy routine.

    she took one deep breath and took off again. on and on she ran among sparkling in the sun snow-covered trees and twitter of the early birds.

    purpose: to establish the influence of con on shield block chances.

    characters: orc sigel knight 99 lvl equipped with [IMG] blessed amaranthine cutter, no buff.

    target: human sigel knight 99 lvl equipped with [IMG] eternal heavy set defense type and [IMG] eternal shield; with passive skill superior shield mastery learned . the first test was done without a buff, for the second test the char was buffed with knight’s harmony.

    [IMG][IMG]

    test 1: the orc automatically attacked [IMG] the human character, who was facing him. 1000 blows were landed for each con value.
    the results are presented in the table below:

    {tbody}{tr}{tr}{tr}{tr}{tr}{tr}{tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tbody}
    con valuesuccessful shield blockchance, % 85 750759078078958308310086586,5105905 90,511096596,5
    here they are in the form of a diagram:

    [IMG]

    the x-axis represents con values for the human character(target character).
    the y-axis represents shield block chance for the human character.

    conclusion: with the increase in con, the chance of shield block grows too. the dependence is practically linear.

    test 2: the human was buffed with knight’s harmony. the orc automatically attacked [IMG] the human character, who was facing him. 1000 blows were landed for each con value. the results are in the table below:

    {tbody}{tr}{tr}{tr}{tr}{tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tr}{/tbody}
    con valuesuccessful shield blockchance, %8596596,59010001009510001001001000100
    here they are in the form of a diagram:

    [IMG]

    conclusion: the shield block rate is the same for con 85 with knight's harmony and con 110 without knight's harmony. with the buff, the shield block rate reaches 100% at 90 con, that is, further increase in con has no effect on it.
