    yumi's tyrr warrior friends were visiting her once again. although, it wasn't a particularly good time.

    'guys, come on, you can't come to me every time you need to enchant something, i've got experiments to do, and you know that.'

    'but you're the best, you are. we want quality, we come to you!' said one of them.

    'aren't you happy to see us? is that what it is? you hate us now?!' the other one pretended to fall into hysteria.

    'shut up,' yumi laughed.

    'no, no, it's true i can see that now,' the first tyrr warrior joined in.

    'oh come on, stop giving me a hard time.' said yumi, amused with her friends' fooling around.

    'nah, she hates us. we are very sorry we wanted to spend time with our brilliant friend and have a laugh and do something cool. apparently, we're not welcome here anymore.'

    'idiots' said yumi through giggling.

    'go ahead, laugh. laugh while our hearts break.'

    at this point the warriors failed to keep it together, too, and burst into a roaring laughter themselves.

    finally, yumi sighed:

    'oh well... okay, okay, i give up, let's test your enchant... thing... whatever.'

    the tyrr warriors high-fived delightedly and stared at yumi expectantly.

    'where do we start, boss?'



    in this series of tests we will compare the efficiency of enchanting the [​IMG] mega strike skill (fire attack vs duel) in pvp and pve. there is no variation in damage for the mega strike skill, that is why it was chosen for the experiment.

    characters: two lvl 99 tyrr warriors, both unbuffed. the attacker uses [​IMG] amaranthine dualsword with 300 fire attribute.

    the efficiency of the skill in pve will be tested on a lvl 41 monster, the crokian lad. the mob was chosen for the damage it can receive, which is comparable to the damage we will inflict in pvp.


    • test 1
    in our first test we enchanted [​IMG] mega strike from +0 to +10 (fire attack) and recorded the damage inflicted on the target character for each enchantment stage.


    • test 2
    in the second test we enchanted [​IMG] mega strike from +0 to +10 (duel) and recorded the damage inflicted on the target character for each enchantment stage.


    • test 3
    in the third test we enchanted [​IMG] mega strike from +0 to +10 (fire attack) and recorded the damage inflicted on the lvl 41 monster crokian lad for each enchantment stage.


    • test 4
    in this test we enchanted [​IMG] mega strike from +0 to +10 (duel) and recorded the damage inflicted on the lvl 41 monster crokian lad for each enchantment stage.

    here are the results:

    conclusion: as it can be seen from the table above, enchantment for duel gives a significant bonus in pvp, while in pve it does not matter what the skill is enchanted by.

    of course the difference in pve will not show as the weapon itself is far past the cap of the damage bonus you can get from elements. the test should have been conducted on a mob with at least 200 resistance.
