i just become a wynn and after reading the posts in this forum i'm still confused. really we need 3 sets? as i think robe + 2h staff for reapers, light + bow for cougars and heavy + 2h staff for pvp? i would like to know if someone with experience could help us (me and other new summoners). from lvl 85 to lvl 99 what's the best gear that we have to buy? what type of set? weapon and sa? i know that i'm asking so much maybe but i don't wanna waste money in useless things thank you very much
bow+light set should work till 99, if you want to spend as little as possible on gear. after 99 yes you should get pvp setup with 1h mage wep/2h staff and experienced wynns can answer about armor set/sas...
robe heavy at 99 cuz before pvp pointless. until 99 light and focus bow. mage weapon mb too for aoe but depends on your pocket. most important and useful is bow + light set with str dyes.
well, since i havent posted anything regarding my wynn setup, i'll do it here. so far i came to this conclusion: pve: 85-95: twilight leather enchant type armor set + apocalypse thrower damage or apocalypse retributer acumen (since lindvior brought bonus for 2 handed magic blunt weapon). sa damage is better than focus, since you will hit crit. rate capacity especially on late lvls with good equipment.imho focus could only be considered better before you hit 95.this should apply to yulls too. 95-99: seraph leather enchant type armor set + specter thrower damage or specter retributer acumen( because of the bonus previously mentioned). pvp and oly: 95-99 seraph magic type robe armor set + specter retributer acumen. for pve attribute i would recommend holy, but water is good aswell. have no idea on best pvp atttribute.i suspect earth as very good for pvp attribute, but i think you have to find that out yourself, since anyone wont be able to 100% predict that one. i would never choose heavy armor because of simple facts: + 4151 hp when using robe/light + 2 int when using robe/light + 5% casting spd. when using robe just to be clear, this is my own opinion.i provided information i gathered from my own experience. i'm still looking for ways on how to improve myself, so if anyone has any better advices please share. edit: since a friend asked me about equipment i decided to update this post, so i underlined updated content.
