[character] awakening 1) after the awakening system is changed, a character can awaken to one of 34 classes - the third class transfer can be completed with the help of the giant’s statue, like it was before. - dual-class can be awakened only when the awakening of the main class is completed. - only main class can be awakened into ‘tyrr maestro’ and ‘iss dominator’. 2) each character that awakens with the help of npc hardin receives 2 vials with chaos essence. these items can be later used to change class to another one (the new class should belong to the same branch/archetype) - chaos essence will expire in 30 days. - chaos essence can be obtained and used only on the main class. - chaos essence cannot be used by heroes and heroes-to-be (standby) - olympiad points are not reset after the class change with the help of chaos essence, which may bring changes to the hero list. 3) awakened characters can change their class to a new one with the help of npc hardin, who can be found in the reliquary of giants. heroes and stand-by heroes cannot change class. 4) awakening a dual class a character receives 2 chaos essences (dual classes) from hardin in order to change a class within one profession branch. - chaos essence (dual classes) may be used within 30 days. - chaos essence (dual classes) may be used only when a character doesn’t have a “chaos essence”. - already awakened dual classes will also receive 2 chaos essences (dual classes). 5) dual-class can be re-awakened with the help of npc raina in talking island village. - dual-class can be re-awakened only when the main class is awakened into one of the new classes. - dual-class can be awakened only when the awakening of the main class is completed. - before the update it was forbidden to choose a dual-class from the same branch which the main class belonged to. after the update this restriction will be narrowed down to the same class. 6) due to the changes in the awakening system, it has become impossible to obtain a class power weapon. all existing stones of destiny and class power weapons have been removed from the game. vitality vitality system has been redesigned. the impact which vitality had on character leveling has been lowered. 1) vitality xp bonus has been decreased from 300% down to 200%. - the difference between hunting with/without vitality points has been reduced. - along with the vitality xp bonus decrease, the experience gained from killing monsters has been increased. thus, the amount of xp gained during hunting with vitality points left will remain the same as before the update. however, the amount of xp gained while hunting without any vitality points left will increase. 2) vitality points consumption patterns have been redesigned. - <85 lvl: vp are consumed faster while hunting. - >85lvl: vp are consumed at lower speed while hunting. 3) the weekly usage limit of the following vitality items has been removed: - vitality replenishing herb tea -vitality replenishing herb tea – event - vitality replenishing potion - vitality maintaining potion - vitality maintaining potion (30 minutes) - vitality maintaining potion (30 minutes) – event 4) vitality bonus no longer affects the amount of xp gained after killing the final boss in kartia’s labyrinth (group). the base amount of xp granted for completing the instant zone has been increased. other changes 1) as it is impossible to have more than 2.1kkk sp, which previously caused certain troubles, the maximum amount of sp and the amount of gained/required sp has been reduced by 90% in all the aspects (learning skills, quest rewards, sp scrolls etc.). - thus, the practical value of sp remains unchanged but the limit has become harder to reach. - however, the amount of sp required to raise clan level from the 1st to the 5th remains same as before in order to maintain the importance of clans. 2) the amount of xp required to raise a character’s level from the 40th to the 85th has been changed. - these changes have been introduced in order to balance character leveling speed. 3) a character whose evasion rating is higher than hit rating of the attacker will no longer receive higher damage in case of a successful attack. 4) distance to the target no longer affects the damage dealt with ranged weapons (bows/crossbows). 5) if a sub-class belongs to the same type as the main class, a character will receive a chaos fragment upon completing the “split destiny” quest. - any character that has a chaos fragment in possession can awaken its dual-class into any class within the same type with the help of npc hardin. - the chaos fragment can be used after the character runs out of chaos essences. 6) the “split destiny” quest is no longer available to judicators. 7) a beauty salon allowing players to change a character’s appearance has been introduced to the game. - a beauty salon may be used with the help of npc la vie en rose in aden, giran, shuttgart, dion and rune. 8) a new action “boast” has been added. 9) a new system optimizing appearance detalization is used in locations with a high concentration of players. - optimization may be turned on/off in the game interface with a special button. - optimization turns on automatically in the fight with lindvior. 10) character’s face detalization depends on video settings. characters’ facial features now look more elaborated.
[skills] 1) due to the awakening class system being redesigned, new skills have been introduced. - like before, new skills can be learned in the skills window (alt+k). - the “plunder” skill will be now available only to othell fortune seekers and will be removed from all othell rogues’ spellbooks. as compensation, players will receive immortal scrolls (the amount of these depends on the skill enchantment level). - enchanted poems, harmonies and sonatas have been removed from orc iss enchanters’ spellbooks. depending on the enchantment level, players will receive immotal scrolls. - iss dominator’s poems/harmonies/sonatas have been replaced with “frenzied” skills which can be cast on clan members. - an immortal scroll allows safe skill enchanting to the next level. - new minions have been added to enhance the peculiarities of the new classes. - new cubics have been added to enhance the peculiarities of the new classes. 2) no sp are needed to learn new skills at level 85. 3) the duration of debuffs no longer depends on their land rate. - now debuff land rate influences only the chance of successful landing, while the duration is constant. 4) the land rate decrease pattern of immobilization effects after consecutive debuff reapplication has been changed. - before: if a debuff of the same type (physical/mental) is cast on a target within 15 seconds from the first application of a negative effect on the same target, its land rate decreases and the debuff is cancelled after the 4th application. - now: if a debuff is cast on a target within 15 seconds from the first application of a negative effect of the same type (physical/mental) on that target, its land rate decreases; after the 3rd application the debuff is removed. - casting time has been increased to 5 sec up from 3 sec. - cooldown time has been reduced to 5 minutes down from 40 minutes. - duration has been increased to 30 minutes up from 20 minutes. - the “mesmerized” debuff is no longer applied together with the positive spell effect. 7) land rate of some skills has been decreased down from 100%. 8) the following class skills have been redesigned in order to improve class balance: sigel knight - duration changed to 10 sec - cooldown changed to 5 sec - power increased, whereas the effects remain the same as before. b. “mark retriever" has become more efficient: - cooldown time has been reduced. - divine protection elixir can be used by characters at level 85 and above, but not in the olympiad arena. - the effect of divine protection elixir fades out when “art of seduction” buff is applied - there are two recipes teaching how to craft divine protection elixirs. one of them is a tyrr-maestro-only recipe, whereas the other is available to all awakened characters - [items] 1) unidentified items can no longer be obtained. - currently existing unidentified items will remain. 2) bosses and raid bosses drop lists and chances have been changed. 3) adena and items drop chance in hunting zones has been changed. 4) whenever a vitality item bonus is active, characters will not be able to obtain weapons, armor and enchantment scrolls. 5) the following parameters of standard/blessed equipment of r- and higher grades have been increased: - weapon: p. atk., m. atk. - armor, sigil, shield: p.def. - accessories: m.def. 6) elixirs of r- and higher grades have their effects changed. - elixir of life (r-grade): restores â¼ of maximum hp - elixir of mind (r-grade): restores 1/10 of maximum mp - elixir of cp (r-grade): restores â¼ of maximum cp 7) elixir of blessing now additionally provides the effect of drum melody. 8) the following new recipes have been added: - recipe: high-grade elixir of life (r-grade) - recipe: high-grade elixir of mind (r-grade) - recipe: high-grade elixir of cp (r-grade) - recipe: elixir of protection (grants the effect of knight’s harmony) - recipe: elixir of magic (grants the effect of wizard’s harmony) - recipe: elixir of aggression (grants the effect of warrior’s harmony) 9) blacksmith of mammon can enhance eternal r99-grade armor, adding a pvp- or a pve-bonus to it. - pvp-enhanced armor is called “dark eternal armor”. if a complete 5-piece armor set is equipped, damage received in pvp is reduced by 20%. - pve-enhanced armor is called “bloody eternal armor”. if a complete 5-piece armor set is equipped, damage received from monsters is reduced by 20%, p.atk. increases by 5%, m.atk, increases by 10%. - pvp- and pve-sets have separate bonuses, and in order to activate them and get the maximum bonus, a character should have all set pieces with the same parameter (pvp or pve) equipped. - giant's energy, energy of destruction and eternal enhancement stone are used to enhance the items. 10) the appearance of dark/bloody amaranthine weapons has been modified. 11) vitality replenishing items now cannot be used when a character already has maximum vp. 12) weapon/armor appearance change system has been added. - appearance scrolls/stones can be obtained as a part of a raid, mentor or aden reconstruction reward. 13) blacksmith of mammon and maestro ishuma can no longer craft dark/bloody amaranthine dual weapon. - dark/bloody amaranthine dual weapon can still be obtained via enhancing amaranthine dual weapon with the help of the blacksmith of mammon. 14) selling a dark/bloody amaranthine enhancement stone to an npc vendor will now bring you 0 adena. 15) a problem regarding incomplete restoration of cp upon consuming super healthy juice if the character’s maximum cp exceeds 20k has been fixed. 16) r-grade items (requiem, apocalypse) have been changed in the following way: - prices for armor and weapon have been slightly changed; [cross-server sieges] cross-server sieges system has been introduced. 1) participation: - only clans owning aden or rune may take part in the sieges. - chaotic characters and characters with summoned pets/summons can't teleport to the siege. - only characters of level 85 and above may take part in cross-server sieges. no more than 70 characters including a clan leader may participate in the siege. 2) settings: - by moving to the place where a cross-server siege is held information about heroes isn't kept. - teleporting, items enchantment and modification is limited in the “alternative dimensionâ€, therefore you should prepare for a siege in advance. 3) registration and siege process. - registration for the cross-server sieges is held every week from sunday to 20 00 on friday. you can teleport to the “alternative dimension†with the help of npc mermoden who is not far from wyvern manager. - you can register for the siege with the help of heralds npc in the near of aden's north gate and next to the gatekeeper in rune. - in the alternative dimension you can get an approval for the castle defence by npc chamberlain next to the throne. - you can teleport to the alternative dimension every saturday from 18 00. the cross-server siege runs from 20 00 to 22 00. - you can teleport back to the server with the help of npc mermoden in every city or by restarting a game. 4) rewards: - ruler who wins in a cross-server siege gets a mark of glory and a black anvil guild's dimensional chest from a dimensional manager. besides you may get energy of dimensions in aden and rune. - in case of a series of consecutive victories in cross-server sieges a grade of energy of dimensions received as a reward grows from level 1 to 4. the higher the grade, the better the reward is which may be exchanged for it. - dimensional teleport orb, energy of dimensions, mark of glory which may be acquired in the cross-server siege expire in 8 days. they should be used with the help of npc mermoden within 8 days. - if you bring a mark of glory to mermoden on your server, a dimensional wizard will appear. you can get energy of dimensions from this npc. - when a siege is over, owners of other castles beside aden and rune may choose which castle they will support (aden or rune) by the dimensional emissary and get a reward. - owners of main castles (aden and rune) may get a reward corresponding to the number of territories supporting them.
