HOW TO RESOLVE ISSUE AND PLAY GAME

hi guys,

if you press button play and it's not working, or you pressing update and it gives you nothing or update stuck in same position try this:

before any problems solving you need to check is your system up to date:

1)your windows must have all service packs(sp) and all updates released after.
2)if you got newest microsoft visual c++ 2010 restributable you have to uninstall it, and better all other to make sure to launch properly game. at the moment game using c++ 2010 10.0.30319 but you better dont go install you're self because 4game will do it auto, i think tech will solve this soon.

steps:

1. close you web browser
2. close 4game application in you taskbar near clock.
3. go to control panel, add/remove programs, or programs and features(in win7)
4. remove 4game and remove your all microsoft visual c++ 2005/2008/2010 restributables. 4game will install the version it needs.
5. restart pc to make sure it went ok.
6. open web page: http://www.lineage2.eu and press "play english version", you should be redirected and web page must give you new launcher.exe. which version is 1.1.1.51(2011-12-08 16h). if web page wont give you a new launcher you can get it from here: http://www.2shared.com/file/i9df_ugp/lineage2eu-4game.html
7. install it. i suggest you to install in c:\program files as it asks. after instalation go to web page it will ask you where to install game so make it in directory where was your l2eu unless you want to re-download all if you will do as i wrote it will just check all files and replace if needed.
8. after instalation you should be able to launch game through the page by pressing "play". in some cases you can see 2 servers in game, close it and go for repair. repar can be found above button "play" - yes it's screw if you will press it you will see option fix. go. it will check all files, and corrupted will be replaced. thats all now go play.

9. as always sry for my bad english

if you see button "update" that means you did something wrong! 1.1.1.51 launcher is the newest(2011-12-08 16h)

if frost security gives an error, look ar your security options, like firewall and etc. try to run as administrator.

i hope it will help you to start playing

as i'm not from innoe team and not from tech support or some kind of specialist, i hope we will get new update with fixes and if you found how to solve some issue just post i will try to add on first page.

do you have all microsoft windows updates? its very important.

 

yes! all updates same problem on firefox, i'm using google chrome...

 

oh and i don't see any buttons like update or play....

 

i have uploaded new launcher, and edited my first post. please check it guys.

 

i've reinstalled my browser seems to work until now

 

ive downloaded the latest version of launcher from the website but it still is asking for an update and as soon as i press updare now nothing happends...

it cant ask you for an update, unless you got install bad version. so from which website you have downloaded? and what version it showing? move mouse on file and wait for tool tip, there it will show you file version. you should go through 1-5 steps. when download launcher from step: 8.1 not l2 web page. problem can be with cookies.

 

please post more info. like what happening? what are you pressing?

okey at least steps 1-9 works fine. please tell me what web browser you are using and what version ?

 

me too did all the steps, but after installing 4game web just hides all buttons in that box, tried ie, chrome, ff , but i dont believe browser is the problem because if it work on one browser it will work on all others if its not then it wont work on everything u try

okey just calm down,

i have tryed to uninstall launcher to make sure web is responding at normal state. and it was working perfect for me, i have redownloaded and installed.

i was using chrome 15.0.874.121 version. in program and features microsoft visual c++ 2010 10.0.30319 x86 and same x64. my os win7-64x. can you guys write your versions? i will try with firefox reinstall game.
