what helps you win a pvp?
    a weapon finely spelled?
good armor, necklace, rings? for me –
    a well-enchanted belt.
but first it is important, guys,
to test what this belt grants.
and just a belt is not so wise
    to test without pants.

purpose: find out the bonuses (in %) from s - r95 belts.

characters: the test was carried out with a level 99 othell rogue, level 99 feoh wizard and level 99 tyrr warrior. all the three characters had learnt all their available skills.

    equipment:

    1. othell rogue: +0 blessed amaranthine shaper (haste), [IMG] blessed eternal leather set (assassin type),
a set of belts with a pvp skill attack bonus and pvp physical attack bonus: [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
    2. feoh wizard: [IMG]+50 blessed amaranthine caster (acumen), [IMG] blessed eternal robe set (magic type), a set of belts with a pvp skill attack bonus: [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
    3. tyrr warrior: [IMG] eternal heavy set (defense type), a set of belts with a pvp defense bonus: [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

the test consists of three parts. in the first one, belts with a pvp defense bonus will be tested. the second test deals with belts with a pvp physical attack bonus. finally, in the third part of the experiment belts with a pvp skill attack bonus will be tested.

    test 1

in this part of the experiment the othell rogue inflicted damage on the tyrr warrior by attacking him from the front. after each blow (not a critical one) the tyrr’s pvp physical attack belt was changed. also, in this part of the experiment we equipped the tyrr warrior a belt without any bonuses in order to make up for the p.def. value when finally calculating the bonus for each pvp defense belt. for accuracy reasons, the othell rogue was buffed with level 3 gm haste: that increases his p.atk. and makes him inflict the maximum damage. otherwise, damage inflicted on the tyrr warrior would be somewhere between 80 and 85, which would throw the accuracy of this test. in addition, we used the “disable damage random” command for the same reason. the results of the first test are presented in the tables below.

as you can see from the tables, the pvp defense bonus (in per cent) is identical for all belts. the difference between the belts only lies in the p.def. value, which influences damage on characters, but does not affect the final pvp defense bonus.

    test 2

the othell rogue and the tyrr warrior also took part in the second test. the othell rogue inflicted damage on the tyrr warrior by attacking him from the front. after each blow (not a critical one) the rogue’s pvp physical attack belt was changed. the tyrr warrior had no belt. again, the gm haste lvl 3 buff was used to increase the damage value, and damage variation was disabled for accuracy reasons. the results are presented below.

as it can be seen from the table, the pvp physical attack bonus (in per cent) is equal for all the belts, as was the case with pvp defense belts.

    test 3

all the three characters – the othell rogue, the feoh wizard and the tyrr warrior - took part in our third test. this test will include two tables, as we wanted to check the damage bonus for both physical and magic skills.

the feoh wizard inflicted damage on the tyrr warrior by using the lvl 8 elemental spike skill. each time he used the skill, his pvp skill attack belt was changed, while the tyrr warrior had no belt. since the gm haste buff does not increase m. attack, full iss buffs including wizards harmony were cast on the feoh to increase damage he inflicted. he was also using a +50 blessed amaranthine caster (acumen) for the same purpose.

in order to check the bonus for physical skills, the othell rogue attacked the tyrr warrior from the front with the lvl 8 dagger explosion skill. after each blow the rogue’s pvp skill attack belt was changed. the othell rogue was under the lvl 3 gm haste buff. the tyrr warrior had no belt. you can see the results in the tables below.

as you can see from the tables, the pvp skill attack bonus, as in the previous cases, is the same for both physical and magic skills.

    to conclude
, now we can say for sure that all belts of the same type have identical pvp bonuses. they are only different in terms of their grade and p. def.
