Regarding the coins

@ a grade all you need is weapon you wont need armour because you have the buffs from npc , stop being one these noobs complaining because you have camped a raid boss shot up 5-10 lvls for 2 minutes work earn your gear, of course all these people lvling using rb your gonna miss out on alot personaly i was able to stay in c grade armour all the way to 76 you wont ever earn all your gear in a day my friend , the biggest thing that messed all this up was the rb lvling because you miss (jump) so many lvls of making adena /items and then it comes to the forums and qq imo lineage 2 was not built por to be played as a 5 minute lvl up / top gear have game those who know how the game works do just fine , again only my opinion the rb lvling up should only be used for subs once you geared out your main class you know where to get and mostly already have the gear for the sub class already, plz show me a link wher it is promised that replacment will be exact same as the old system ? games evolve with updates trial and errors are made long as the maker is learning from its mistakes i dont think there is any reason so long after the update is done to keep playing the same record over and over in this case nc is learning that it needs to improove the crafting again which this update it did slightly and in next update possibky in the xmas period the crafting again will be improoved

 

guys please let it be...we all understand that with the start we had evo road etc and its kinda harder now. on the other hand think that on the early stages of this server there was not evo road and there were not any mentors or raids.
how did these guys lvl up?
everything must be reached with the pain of your back and the strength of your will.
the game is still easy comparing it with the past.

 

@tigger, i leveled through the whole quest line.... didn't kill any raidboss so stop writing bull****. and about not needing higher then c grade armor.... go try to level a dreadnought :d

anyways i don't care so much if the game is a little bit harder now... i only care that we're promised a system that will get you gear if you make all the quests, but this system doesn't work. the only way to get these coins is by one-time quests so it's not like you can farm them with dailies either. on ncwest i guess the devs figured out the coin system is fail because at lindvior the path to awakening is still available...

also stop comparing the game to the 'old days' where there were no stuff like this, because it was a different game back then. now the game is just plain boring until 85, since after that it's a different game . what you should compare is the amount of time needed to reach 99 and compare this to reach the max level back in the day. i don't have a clue how long this took because i play official only from the god chronicle.

and i'm not going to let it be until they fix the system. it's important for new people to join the server....

 

true.. its not the same game. and revo road/ big xp from raid was introduced to new players for 1 reason, so they will lvl up faster, to catch up with old players.. cause server is not 1-2 months old, its almost 1.5 years so there are alot of big players

and new coin system is totaly ********, i lvled newbie from 1 to 85 and made all quests that give steel coins, and gues what.. on 85 lvl i cant buy s grade gun, cause not enough coins,

 

you're wrong. the raid system was not introduced in game by the host company innova, so people to catch up with the others on this server. it was introduced by the developers ncsoft korea (you know, those guys, who made the game) in order to help the new players to level up little faster and enjoy the new lineage 2, which is starting on level 85 now. this doesn't mean it should be easy.

 

if it shouldn't be easy they shouldn't promise a system similar to path to awakening that will give you your gear while you lvl up. that's the whole point! they created this steel door coins to remove the old system and i guess to 'force' people to follow the new quests, rather then just grinding their butts off.

sure this is made in korea. i believe in korea they also have more ways to get the steel door coins besides the one time quests, so why don't we have this? on ncwest they at least left the path to awakening on, but here it's removed which just makes the game from 1>85 boring as hell.

the server is so great, really, but this exping below 85 is just annoying. specially for new people who don't have rich friends playing on the server who can provide gear and powerlevel them. 80 -> 85 in c grade armor with a grade weapon is not really fun i can tell :/

 

that's just wierd. you don't need billions to have a grade gear as armor. you can use shadow b weapon till you have enough coins to have a grade weapon and later upgrade it to s. nothing is really stopping you from leveling fast up to 85 with that gear. rb system still exhists and some players are still making 1-85 in 24~48 hours... it is other thing that some people have no idea what to do in lineage 2 and how to save and spend their adena.

 

upgrade to s? at lvl 85 you don't have enough coins to even upgrade to low s grade

it just seems stupid they make a system to gain xp+gear by making quests instead of grinding your butts off, but in order to xp in a decent way you must ignore this new system and farm raidbosses only or again go grinding like a maniac.

now, please go try to make a new char without help from any other char... only using the supposed new system for new people

 

i did leveled up a new char. i had enough coins to take a grade weapon on level 76. for the record i dislike raid bosses camping system and yes, i grind my butt off. had no problems to level up 1-85 in 4 days.

 

so from:
- receiving +4 dynasty weapon + sa, dynasty armor set, dynasty jewels at level 76

to:
- being able to get a grade weapon without sa/enhancements, not able to get armor or jewels at level 76

now tell me this new system, which is supposed to be similar to the old system, works well? please don't tell me again i can farm raids, get powerlevel, find rich mentor/friends/clan, etc because that's not my point. the point is this new system is not doing what it's supposed to do.

i had even a hard time doing my awakening in c grade armor :d made it with about 200 hp left

 

out of curiosity the system path of awakening/evo road does exhist (did ever exhisted) on korean servers? cuz if it doesn't the idea of coins quests is just to gear up due to the unidentified armors/weapons does not exhist anymore.
my point is, if someone really want to play in this server, nothing is gonna stop him. as it didn't stopped the people to level up without mentors, evo roads even without iss buffs at the beginning of this server. yes, they can choose the easy way and go play on ncwest, but is it worth, if in the end after level 90+ they realize they are playing there in vain, because of the bots and zranger.
there is nothing wrong or hard to level up without evo road. now all are having sonatas as mentor buffs, come on. the experience need to level up is reduced. all i sway easy, only the newcommers have to really want to play.

 

on the korean servers players can buy steel door coins using their pc cafe points earned by simply playing, plus the game is not free to play for them as they have to purchase game time.

 

the thing is they don't have such system like we had free items when you're progressing, which means the idea of coins system was not made in order to replace the exhisting system.

 

that's how they announced it for ncsoft/innova. but then again, the system is not working like it does in korea. so the system = fail and should be fixed simple

 

after we are playing this game for free (unlike koreans), after we had the evo road before lindvior (unlike koreans), after innova are doing all in their power to keep the server free from bots and their cash shop is not pay to win, sorry but human beings are never thankful. seriously is not like it is impossible! it is perfectly possible and doable in 4 days. i did it, if i did, all can...

 

easier to lvl to 85 = easier for new people to join = more people = more premium = more money for innova



anyways don't get me wrong, i'm happy with the server. however i do believe server can have a lot more people than it has now. making it harder for new people is not really the way to go then. like anyone will care if under 85 its more easy, the real thing starts after 85 anyways

 

bha make it real hardcore.

dismiss all stuff of everyone, increase hp mobs by 10000, decrease xp gained by 10000.
delete all grades stuff from s grade.

i've played this game since tha௠beta, and i'm laughing about players who write.. hey harder is better !!!

a game shouldn't be hard or easy, it must be well designed with a logic progression and help to integrate new players with the community who's already in the server.
what is better ? most of active players doing pve/pvp together, or just be like "tigger" would gently spit in the face of new player. if you prefer the second solution, take a lash and go to whip yourself with yours fanatics friends.

most of players are 85+, most of them obtained theirs items/levels during "yours words : the noob easy chronicle xp/farm period".

 

clearly a forum troll here and personal reference /attack i do believe is not permitted on the forum lol but im honored that you have to mention me, clearly you just dont understand me i have never stated that i dont want new players nor would spit in there face clearly you dont know my clan as every new player gets gear and help i dont ask for the game to be hard or easy i just amazed how many people want the world handed to them lets take the qq on about evo road still active at nc hmm nice but hey you cant do events there because guess what you have to pay real cash to do them haha just even this past cat event they had to spend there money to get the instrument in order to get a buff lol and yes they have evo road but again its all gear you can get for free still on innova server unless ofc you wnat take teh short cuts and rb lvl up then you miss out so again quit qq thats a choice you made , kinda sad my friend you make an assumption about a person with out finding out what they actually do for new players on server so go back to your xbox and play street fighter or somthing. also those items obtained by 85+ players can still be obtained today ingame just have to get your lvl up and get them if you need help to obtain somthing you called always leave mail or pm id be happy to assist.

 

tigger, the things you say about ncwest are bull****. sure there you must have nccoin to get instrument in the cat event (which is only 1 nccoin btw), but they have letter event (which can be played totally for free) as well which we don't have here. also here you must pay for premium for +1 client. so in the end both have things you must pay for, which is ok.

anyways i'd still vote for making it more easy up to 85, as in same easy as before. like i said before, who cares if people get it more easy to lvl to 85? it will just end up with more people 85+ in the end... meaning more fun on server and most likely more income for innova as well

the letters collector event at ncwest required 3 words to be made...the monsters were droping all the letters, but 3 of them had an extremely low chance to be dropped (i saw a lot of complaints at their forums) and suddenly all these 3 letters were provided by their store for 1 ncoin. consider the fact that the minimum ammount of ncoins someone can buy is 400.

anyway...why do you think that leveling to 85 from 1 lvl is so boring? i personally like very much playing the old classes before going to 85. i like hunting mobs down much more than camping a raid for hours just to see other people coming to the same raid and then i end up getting hardly one lvl while i could take more xp grinding.
call me a masohist i don't care.
if it is so annoying to lvl up they should give instant 85 lvl when you log for the 1st time don't you think?
