    - look.
    for anyone who played
    lineage ii, a higher grade
    always was a reason to
level up and save up, too.
and, you know, a higher grade
    can decrease the damage... wait!
    can it?
    - yeah.
    - you sure?
    - i am.
    - why not just comparing them?
you take one, i take another.
    - deal, my dwarfy elder brother.

purpose: to find out if an armor grade affects the inflicted damage.

experiment: we used an [IMG] eternal set (heavy armor, attack) and found an enchanted [IMG] seraph set (heavy armor) with the equal p. defense value.

tyrr titan (lvl. 99) put these sets on during the experiment, while othell adventurer (lvl. 99) and sigel hell knight (lvl. 99) attacked him.

first, othell adventurer used an [IMG] amaranthine shaper and a [IMG] specter shaper. in the second test sigel hell knight attacked the opponent with an [IMG]amaranthine cutter and a [IMG]specter cutter . all characters didn't have any additional equipment and buffs, and we disabled damage variation with a special gm command.

conclusion: r95-grade weapons inflict the same damage both to the r99 and r95 armor sets. the same is for damage fromr99 weapons which is the same for both eternal and seraph sets. grade has no influence at all on the inflicted damage.
