atm all i'm being told is of the classes doing their job and that they deserve more, when you say "thanks" or "thanks for party" after the party is over do you feel that those certain individuals (healer/iss/tanks especially by the sound of it) aren't properly rewarded?

ok, final post seeing as though i'm not getting any proper argument coming back at me.

role of othell rogue ---> deal damage (the more hp target the better), lay poison zone (if safe), chain stuns/knockbacks against dangerous targets, lure 1 monster if required
any major disadvantages with any of the othell specialists in achieving this role? ---> none, all othell rogues are capable of half kill, laying poison zones, chain stunning targets and luring

so i've first established that a fortune seeker is a very capable rogue and dd.

now this is currently how its going down (unfortunately for some/most fortune seekers):

a fortune seeker joins a party and shares his spoil chances with 6 other people, that means in theory that every person in that party has effectively specialized in fortune seeking.
now, if absolutely everything you did was party based on lineage 2 then what would this mean exactly? well it would mean that every person who picks a fortune seeker has enabled everyone around him to be able to do his special trade skill without even having to be a fortune seeker.
( ^ i hope you have got this in your head crystal clear! ^) tied in with the fact othell fortune seekers have no flaws in being an othell rogue in damage and utility this means that there special trade ability mug/plunder is charity and what a lot of you are doing is demanding charity from fortune seekers.

these two lines weigh up everything perfectly:

'if you are so desperate for mats you would of made a fortune seeker instead of steal from one'
'i would of really liked to have been a wind rider for the extra pvp bonuses (extra dex, extra evasion skill, etc), i'll make this instead because i'm always with my spoiler friend in parties anyway so i still get mats! ^^'

after all that i'll say what i said in a previous post, it is up to the othell fortune seeker if he wishes to share mats and good examples of this would be:

-- for clan parties to either get the clan warehouse stocked or to aid fellow members in mats (for either money or making)(for making fellow members that he likes and enjoys playing with stronger!).
-- for small parties as a reward to 1 support and 1 dd for instance for doing the majority of what makes the group function (and if you don't believe an othell rogue functions in a full party please leave this thread).

    conclusion:
people who agree with spoil randoms without any reason are not thinking hard enough (or are thinking perfectly hard, but just for themselves).

really? so you think it's ok to take all while your whole party helps you get more spoils?

it's like going to a raid and as cc/pt leader you demand all the drops, just because you're the one who clicked a button to enter the instance.

and as i said it's like a friend helping you getting more money doing your job, but you don't reward him with anything.

you really don't understand this? if you don't want randoms to get your spoils... don't fcking go with randoms or go solo.

edit: nice shield you got as othell btw ;)

an iss joins a party and shares his buffs with 6 other people, that means that in theory that every person in that party has effectively specialized in buffing.

what he should do is invite 6 other fortune seekers to party to see how would that go.

with the drop rate nerf, anyone inviting a fortune seeker over any other dd, does so for two reasons. lethal and spoils.

if he thinks that is normal for a party to kill mobs for him to push a skill and keep the drops, then he should go there and spoil alone to see if it would work.
its his skill, but all the other people in the party are the ones enabing him to have a chance to use that skill.

    *mumbles about -evasion from shield*

perhaps you've never seen any other othell ... but they're not using shields ;). or is that some theory you have in your head on how it's supposed to be???

but well if you like to listen to your broken record called "i need special treatment because i'm superior" then keep on doing so. it's not like you're able to give a proper respond to our reasons to why you should have random spoil, probably because you don't have any.

tell me exactly how evasion is useful.

also tell me the exact reason as to why most people equip dual daggers as there main choice because i can telll you after excessively playing an othell that auto attacks as an othell are completely useless and increased p.atk feels pointless. a good othell will use his 4 blows repeat-lively in pve unless he is trying to conserve his healers mp.

a long winded post actually explained my reason perfectly, whicb seems like most people responded 'tldr'! and replied with "well healer gives heals and iss gives buffs and blah blah blah".

i would welcome at anytime anybody who has actually thought in-depth weighing up everything especially when it comes to the main thing in lineage 2 which is pvp. i don't think that i'm superior at all but i expect a reply that has shown some work and experience because what i am getting at the minute is a lot of assumptions or inexperience.

yeah sure, "people help you, you don't give them anything back for it" .... that's your life motto isn't it?

about the dagger, dual daggers have different sa and get more stats when enchanted to +4 :) do your research, this isn't old chronicle anymore. also with the next update the casting speed of spoil skills is affected by attack speed :)

if you don't know what evasion is for, while you play a paper class having ultimate skills to evade incoming attacks ... not my problem. anyways no need to discuss any further since you know everything, or so you think. good luck finding parties in your event gear with shield that will give you all spoils while they help you

bboywizard is 100% right about spoils.

what kind of argument is "people help you, you don't give them anything back for it"? are you serious? what tyrr/othell adventurer/ etc. give party?

boy as an othell-spoiler gives party exactly the same as you, as others members - damage. it's an exp party, not a "spoil party", unless u make one and warn that is spoil oriented party - evething is clear then.

if you make party why are you all not waiting for spoiler to join? you just take some random dd and you're happy than you can exp. but when spoiler enter party room everything suddenly change - u want exp and take advantage of his unique skill. he's not the one that abuse party (as u all write) - you abuse him.
and stop comparing spoil to iss buff - it's ridiculous.

p.s. i don't play spoiler but i perfectly understand bboy.

single dagger enchanted to +4 = crit damage bonus
single dagger atk spd bonus = 25% (look in passives)
single dagger sa choice = haste

a shield has the chance of blocking skills and having the chance of perfect block, along with knights harmony a fortune seeker who kept collectors experience has 45% defense rate with a shield (when facing the target). when you activate final ue or aod you have far too much evasion increase for '-8 evasion' from using a shield to make a difference.

quoted in bold - however you need to discuss further as its pretty apparent you know nothing.

let's not change the subject guys - there are test at forum for shields and dual vs single dagers so everyone can check them.
about the dmg that spoiler or any kind of dager gives to pt is useful vs single targets. any other class surpasses the dager for aoe where is the good spoil (gf aoe or soh aoe for example and even before this to zones - orbis aoe). this are hard proven facts which are checked by me (its nightmare to do gf or soh with more than 2 dagers). and its not like you say assumptions or whatever but when you level up you will see the difference.

daggers are essential damage in raider's crossroad and can stun easily.

imo othell's need to work harder than most dd's in a party to prove there worth, they need to lay poison zone down immediately and damage the hardest thing to kill using skills only, this is what daggers excel at.

so you've concluded that fortune seekers only have 2 skills which are mug & plunder, interesting, i think from the class description 'othell fortune seeker' they should just remove the othell part altogether and have me spam 2 skills.

the bin is full, stop throwing trash in!

i have very disturbing news for all witchhunters who wish to burn alive another victim apart from spoiler.

tyrr maestro. this individual prey on your exp party and it's not giving back nothing execpt damage.
think about it - maestro lvl up his unique skill - crafting while exping with you but he doesn't share profits from craft!
you just don't see his skill in use like u see spoil in chat window. your greed factor doesn't turn on cause this filthy dwarf do it when party is over and laughing at you.

if it weren't for your buffs, heals, agrro he could not craft serpah heavy breasplate or whatever and sell it for 200kk, could he?

sadly ncsoft has not made this skill exploitable by others but luckily for us they have made the spoil available to all so we use what we can get don't you agree?

    #wind rider use spoil
    #what?
    #use spoil
    #lol, i'm not fortune seeker
    #oh
    *kicks wind rider*

this is what you've told me redwind, that all daggers bar fortune seekers are useless, true statement?

feelsd - you can spoil quality leather and orichalcum wire, now i don't know about you but i don't see any use in these mats, not at all.
