Today's changes to the game

if the purpose of the game was being in party all the time, they shouldn't have made the 1-85 quest line all solo. i've played tera for a bit before, there you actually need to form parties while doing quests.

anyways i'm gonna stop spamming now, probably won't have any use anyways. we just have to expect sudden changes like these from innova in the future as well i guess ....

that's why gms say the change was the decision of innova . changed by ncsoft korea, decided by innova...

 

well you'll have to admit that lvling pre-85 is more of an extended tutorial than the game itself, which really begin post-awakening.

 

good, when they changed it to 91 i did not like it becase it made iss buffers useless until 92+

 

then i hope for you you're not a mainclass iss because you clearly don't know what it can do more then just buffing

 

interesting thots you have there. could you give any link to confirm this? always thot that innova makes decisions on theyr own.

 

we know what the isses are suppoe to do, the thing is after lindvior, players used that to simply not invite iss in party. i was a witness when a patry leader is in a hurry just saying :we go kartia, no iss in w8ing list i wont lose my time w8ing for one, go take npc buffs. this is ******ed, man... how we are suppose to have high lvl isses if people prefered to go with npc buffs than take a live one... it is good change... i think up to 85 is a good thing to have those buffs, but after, no. also there is no problem to do anything solo and without sonatas. up to 89 i was doing all solo thingies only with ch buffs (and still do if no iss around), including nurcery... and no 90+ is not more party orientated than 85-89, quite opposite.

 

ya this is a huge nerf holy ****... guess its just kartias from now on. again the game becomes more difficult and less suitable for average gamers. its sad. we need more players here, not less.

 

i guess you're missing the point, the game won't become more difficult, people will simply have to adjust the way they play nothing more (and nothing less ^^).

where people used to solo, they'll either have to box or to party (not necessarily full party, but 2/3 players parties). i think this change is positive as it'll create an incentive to social interaction ingame. i really hope it'll work this way and i hope we'll make a better use of party matching than now (loads of wts/wtb parties until now ) ^^

 

its all good, as fix came from korea, where they noticed decrease in isses... as till 91 u no need one... and dats bad..

for box buy second wooden pc for 80$ or try run in second user... so u always have options here...

 

i don't agree with this buffer lowering on lvl, we are in an age where people like to feel good being on their own or with a friend that isn't a buffer, classes alredy complete each other through debuffs/cc and heals/agros and temporary/low stats buffs. everybody should be able to costumize their own friendly setup and not be stuck with a class most people dont even wanna play to begin with. this buffs till 91 saved me a lot of time for kartias/zakens. people complain there's no isses but they are the most needed class ingame..just because the devs decided this since the game existed...dumb, but unavoidable.

how is this any diferent from:
"theres no tank in waiting list, lets take tyrr"
"theres no archer in waitiling list, lets take dagger"
"theres no wynn in waiting list, lets take some other dd"
"don't take feoh, they **** for this area/raid"
?

what you fail to understand is that people are willing to take iss even if there's npc buffs, if there's no ises around why should one have to wait a long period of time to start a party? it's boring, tedius, unenjoyable. nobody disregards iss as useless, it's the best stat-nerfer in the game with period heals, good cc. they stand as one of the most annoying and helpful classes in the game. buffs are but an extra to make classes come to their "normal level".

huh? yes, i have summoner. but i have also, iss,dual heal, spoiler, maestro, feoh... i agree it was easier with sonatas, but not impossible at all... since i grow up with them before lindvior and all are 87+... we all actually grow up without those buffs, and i m greatful for them up to 85 since i was able to lvl up my subs. but they are not neccessery after, since the awaken isses should be taken in party as well... it is hardcore enough for domis, who can't go with random parties...
if you wanted not class specific game, you're playing in the wrong one. i heard gw2 is this type of game... sooooo eh well...
we had those buffs up to 90 only last 2 months. what you were doing before that? always running with box iss behind.

and i don't really get, why in every change there should be so much qq... are you people same irl?

 

who cares about dominators yeah ... innova clearly doesn't since now its close to impossible to xp a dominator thanks to this update. with adv buffs its still easily possible to 90 and find a cp after this.

and just because you seem to have peace with every change they make, that doesn't mean other people have to agree on it. besides the sudden change is just ******ed i think ... why didn't they just add this change in the next big patch so people could prepare for it ...

also while putting this change in place they already knew it had bugs (no dialog for 86+ people on adv guide)... why the fck isnt it fixed before applying? if something like this really needs changing, then at least do it right in once ...

 

there are many sites where you can check upcoming updates. like terragamers, one of the best site. don't cry just allow it. i even wasn't happy when my dominator could buff only clan members but that char is a goddamn debuffer like in other chronicles. deal with it, live with the changes. we will get updates in every month or every 2nd. 2 more big updates coming in this year i think and if you can check the updates most of you will cry, others will be happy. plan for the future, be updated, start playing w/o crying and enjoy the game. l2 is going to be back to the old roots with many classes and crafts so better be happy. most of the players cry because c4, interlude etc. was better. now here it is, old era is back and people still crying. i still remember when we started here. old buffs from guide and only till 75 or so. w/o any buffer in the town, w/o money, nice quests, raids. stop crying for everything seriously.

this is exactly the problem i have here... how can we plan if they make sudden changes which have quite a big impact on the way people are playing? and even then what they change doesn't fully work properly....

 

that was a sum for everyone and for every updates. if ncsoft decide an update you can't do anything and mostly they don't send any patch notes to innova only if it's a big update. they just get an update and have to implement.

 

again you didn't read because this change in buffer it's innova only which was decided by innova.

and 0 active iss on this dumped dowm server atm and even if i find one, hes the mindless one
they promised they wont change game yet instead of what i were asking for (loterry boost and some other stuff ) they only care about money as you need to buy pa now to even go outside of town cause of npc buffer only up to 85

you could get buff up to 90+ wich means a lot !
it was very good for players to catch up even without any friend iss (this feeling there is like 20active iss with brain and hands on this server, not to mention 97+ levels)

but hey, you can just buy pa, level buffer on second account just to have k 85 done
need some kk for shots ? no problem, take buff 1 hour and farm a bit in mos
collect seeds ? buff up and lets go
scouting was allso good to have this buff up
i allso can mention some of players have archers to player killing, buff from npc was quite usefull too
zaken party ? take buff and lets go, you could even farm toon for istina
so many advantages but i guess they knew it and dumped down ofc
like they always do constantly 2 years from now


/e im trying to exploit everything wich is exploitable or give some profit in game (exploit in a good way) untill it gets fixed
now i can just share some of my tear on forums ofc, not like care much about anything really xd
wisdom about things that other players have no clue is what makes it game cool
