i might have an explanation, is a weird theory but here it comes.
- ncwest use to have eu market but it didn't end up good after 7 year
- ncwest makes a deal with innova about partnership
- what we understood is that ncwest moves all projects to na zone and just keep naia as eu since is old server
- innova announce 2 new servers on web site, but no forum or exact information about live date except this year (which could be on 31 december it would be still this year )
- ncwest in the mean time opens a new server at same day when it updates to god (server named shilen)
- ncwest announce another server called magmeld (previous server was overcrowded)


now the question is, what was the actual "deal"? maybe innova is not allowed to give specific dates until ncwest finish launch of their servers and gets 7 days chance of keeping old players before they see a "better" server on innova?

one big conspiracy i d say!

imo what they should do is the following (counting they said there'd be a beta):

firstly, 1-2 days beta to check the influx of players (count total different ips connected to the server / different accounts ).
then according to those stats make a certain amount of servers - if for instance they make 2 servers they should have 1 ready if the first 2 are overcrowded.

beta wont say much...like always...we seen that on many servers...
to be honest i wouldn't expect much players...simply except for us addicts...noone knows wtf innova is or that lineage2.eu exist(especially this forum).i was talking to ppl that started on ncwest and to some friends that play lineage2 on some private servers.fact that staff is mute and there`s no marketing of whatsoever...1 server would be just fine.i expect numbers like on l2.ws~6k on start with 1 box on...

 

if pa only gives xp/sp boost, it does not influence balance. if you worry about being left behind by pa players, don't. you will be left behind eitehr way by botters/exploiters/nolifers. pa as i see it is perfect for the more mature part of the community that only plays 1-2 hours a day (if any at all), but does not want to be left behind by the people he/she enjoys playing with.

still, no matter how much you dislike it, xp/sp boost items will be in game.

 

pa is fine.
i've been playing on l2.ru for a 2 years now and its okay.

it gives you extra bonus if you pay, what's bad about that?
at least it gives huge income for game hoster.

ncwest have to put serious **** into game shop to keep income.

you already got the launch date, "darkest days of autumn" thats 21.12.
imho pa are good choice but only with exp bonuses, not drop and other ****s... if there will be no donate, and just pas i think plenty of ppl would be a lot happier..

 

2-3 server without pa would be enough :d

 

simple answer - "free-to-play" looses the point , means a lot of serious ppl will just say bb, cuz it was announced as free-to-play so l2 brings back old and gets new players so everybody more or less are on officals, but when they let nolifers use overpowered pa, it will kill the game so ppl soon starts prefer private servers. some little boost is ok, but when they make to serious and pll will be able to use money and get up in "no-time" it will kill the balance.

when they do that, u will see very fast what happens!

 

for some its only the game for some others its a "race" for sure 2nd thing for the guy above me, dude, noone force you to play here, also noone force you to buy pa, its your choice

you don't actually have to pay to play on this servers. pa is optional. you want it, u pay, u have it. you don't want it - no problem, don't buy it. i don't mind paying having pa. i don't have as much time as others to play so it will be great help not to be so far behind other players in terms of experience.

we want info talking about days and not about "soon" all soon and soon. please we need days, waiting for noth...
innova is losing clients if now ncsoft has 2 servers, not eu time but at least opened ones...

 

please stop spamming and be prepared for great l2 experience with innova.
