well if you need a diploma in order to be respected irl, i know plenty of people who got way to many diplomas and i know 20x more then they do about stuff they graduated. my point of view at least on balkan region is that with school you got nothing, and without school you got even less. most of things are being done if you got connections, but away from balkans diploma is just an "entrance" ticket and if you don't know the job you can pretty much put your diploma where the "sun doesn't shine".

we're just getting back on the track with "what is the meaning of life" once again, lets not derail this thread even more so this is my last response. i stated several times that no playing games isn't the best way of learning but polishing your car surely isn't the best way of learning about cars and mechanic either.

ps. i sit on this forum as much as i wish to, its completely irrelevant and out of line for you to tell me what is appropriate or not especially as you practice the same behavior yourself, if i was you i'd refrain from that unless you wish to be seen as a hypocrite. ;>

 

you should learn about human nature at the age of 13~15. all those primary school fights and argues. i didn't say the game is completely useless i just say you can't learn anything from it in any way than you could by books. lets not involve "friendships" and other dumb stuff you said. if i kill someone i am representing myself as a murderer? oh, yes that must be ninam reckless killer.

everything can be found in books if you know where to seek. if you are interested to learn about such an behavior (talking bout this in game behavior) there are plenty books and plenty psychiatrist which and who are dealing with this phenomenon. and yes you are right about balkan region in 90% cases. i'd have to agree bout that. some college degrees are just ridiculous, but there are always exceptions. i was checking few days ago bout a number of serbian ph.d professors in some of the finest world universities and i can aware of you that is just amazing for country with 7kk. q_q

i am a hypocrite, but just for you, you are special. by polishing your car you learn to polish your car, can start polishing cars for 4~5 euro, and look - you can afford to support your game by 15e/month. my posts were directed at people who are against the pa, if you're a game dev as you clame to be(the more you "talk" the less i believe it), you shouldn't be the one of them and your posts would be equivalent of "trolling a troll who's trolling trolls". and i accept your resignment from the discussion, thank you for your input.

and also no1 said that game is source of knowledge same as you now saying that you haven't said game is totally useless. first of all how old are you? what you exp in life so far? where are you from? what school you finished? do you work and if you do where?
after you give a response on this then you can get into discussion with other people, specially with the fact you got no clue with who are you talking to. you are pretty much a proof of what i wrote earlier, you can see even by forum how some people who "hide" behind some random nickname on forum are suddenly trying to sell "brain cereals" to others just cose they are "special".

oh, he's really not obligated to answer that(but he did, pff.. ******* :d), because it's personal information, but he can participate in this discussion, you can't forbit it. :d we also don't know anything about you, and frankly i doubt that anyone gives a damn. it's a forum without any moderation or supervision what so ever, and we can troll as much as we want.

 

i know about him more than he does about me. i know some of his rl friends and i think i owe him this information.

 

when discussion turns into "judging" someones opinion you sure need some background if you want your opinion to be validated by other people.

don't think you got any idea about me, or that you know any of my rl friends, i don't call people friends so easy. you can know people and people can know you, but doesn't mean right away you are friends.

guys, first to start argueing about pa or not, make clear what is the difference. main question is: does pa mean important advantadges like loot and buffs that could make non pa be discriminated, or is it just more experience?

i agree with splicho, i had some servers (local and public too for my friends, like cs 1.6, l2, aion, wow, etc.) and i learned a lot. a lot that simply cannot learned in any school. mysql, php, java and so on. also english can be learned way better on forums and/or using voice communication softwares with those who are speaking it as they native language (like any other language). childrens learning via playing games, but when we grown up, we just forget this fact

 

i guess i should start laughing now, didn't knew someone is tracking my life. i aint bragging around with my life but for sure i have more exp irl then someone like you , i should use that logic why "average girl is hanging around with ugly girl" in order to explain how i feel now while having this "discussion" with you.
