question: Will Innova fix lag situation soon ?

30 sec. delay is a lil bit to much .....

 

ok , i am tired of this. just logged back in and was thinking it got better. found a seed of hellfire pt and stood at kercerus base. thinking how much longer it takes till pt comes ..... nothing nothing ... you have been disconnected from server.....

 

right at this moment "no lag"

thats how it should be. please keep it this way in case u done anything to server

 

i live in europe never got laged or dced.

 

when some people have massive lags and often disconnects while most other people can play without problems it almost always is a routing problem and not a "server problem". this is nothing innova can "please fix" on their side. i have had such problems (and the corresponding complaints on the game forums) in most games i played, and i don't recall any instance of the game company saying "hey, we fixed it, now the lags should be gone". instead, usually the routing problems (last instance i remember was a problem with telekom/level3 in frankfurt am main) are fixed by the respective internet companies.

 

myself and idarkskillz and some more of my friends did a routing tracker yday and the result was that theres no issue at all.
logged into game. and guess what . bam disconnect after having 1 minute of frozen screen.

if u had not read the other posts we have made. we did not lag/disco/freeze when we arrived upon core. totally clean from lag.
it just suddenly appeared since last 3 weeks

we also made support tickets and they said we shall await maintenance which was today. they look into the problem and may fix it.

i am going to see in just a few minutes on wether its fixed or not .

after speaking to our engineers, we've decided that we need some data from those of you who are experiencing constant disconnects. to gather the data we need, you can use wireshark. the description of this soft can be found in the guide linked above. it can also help you with composing a report that should be sent to our support.

archive the file, and name it in the following way:

*nickname*,*date*

title the ticket "wireshark report".

more people do that, more chances we will have to help you with the problem.

 

thanks pazak, but unfortunely . as promised from support team, after maintenance no lag at all so far.

i guess it was something that came from your route. not from ours. cause now all my people dont lag at all and all is working fine again since maintenance.

edit: lets see how long it remains this way

 

suddenly appearing problems are no indication for it being a server problem. problems can develop suddenly in the internet structure just as well as on the game server.

strangely enough, i had pretty bad lag this whole day and evening (that i did not have before) while you write it is ok for you now
