Tournament: AMC season 4

one match cannot really show whos the best, as we saw yesterday with arena team losing to teddybears first match, then winning on rematch, same as hadesnebula winning teddybears on first match and losing on rematch (correct me if i'm wrong, but its the group i've watched the most as they were playing same streaming as us).

 

yes, you're right, one match cannot really show whos the best. but time frames tournament allow bo3/bo5 only in r rank. this means that teams have to play 100% in every fight, mistakes are not forgiven.
maybe something will change in next season.

 

i understand bo3/bo5 can't be done from beginning or tournaments would be 2-3 months~ long, but maybe from a/s ranks or even remove one of those stages would be cool, dunno just giving ideas!

 

it's been like this since the first one, no point to change it right now. sometimes it benefits you, sometimes it's bad if you have a bad match. that's how the tournament is sadly.

 

according to the rules,

the calculations should've been done like logy showed here.

does not mean that is the most fair one, but is according to the rules and i guess they were made for something, otherwise they wouldn't exist.

to be honest i think the formula described by aliothamc is the most fair one but for that the rule should be changed to "... or calculation of the average deaths count per minute ratio per match between those teams" or the formula should be listed also.


apart from the maths:

- it was told that we would have rematch so we waited... there were members from all the teams online but suddenly rematch was not an option. i guess organization contradict themselves and change their minds pretty fast.

- since it's a cross-server championship and there's internacional teams playing, all the information should be provided in english and in time wich doesn't happen.

i really hope that after 4 seasons there will be some improvement in this kind os situations and the rules listed are the correct ones (with no way for doubts). i also hope that organization start posting the detailed calculations as well as the group informations and the matches list in time.

besides all of this, thank you to the organization for the championship and the time spent to provide fun to all the players

 

i'm sorry, but this is ridicolous, now you are for sure one of the best teams of core and an above average team in general, but until now you lost half the matches you fought, if you go out of the tournament it's not because the russians favor their people, it's not because of the wrong math formula and it's because of one bad match or because they didn't allow you to rematch. maybe you should look more at your performance in the tournament.

that said, if you manage to pass to next rank maybe concentrate more on the game and less on making excuses...

 

there's no excuse... there's just an "answer/opinion" about what have been said in the last posts.
i just added few things i consider that are wrong and should be improved for no misunderstoods.
(it happened with us, could be with anyone else)

 

sadly, according to the official referees calculations, qqc are on 4-th place in their group, so if they want, they can play in b rank matches tomorrow for starting from higher rank next season. so, see ya there (i hope) guys

i think budgets cut hit innova staff hard and they don't have enough english speaking personnel.
