Botting- NO!!!

these characters do not just move like this once or twice. they do it all the time while they are logged in, usually multiple times per hour. when you follow them porting to their xp spot (from goddard most port to wall of argos and varka silenos), they will choose one of several different locations (either at random or rotating, i have not figured that out yet) and move to it on a preset path, changing direction at always the exact same points. this path also is the same for all of these bots, as they are based on the same script.

you may have noticed that almost all of these clanless bots consist of warcryers or phantom summoners. you can probably already guess that after awakening those will end up being put together as wynn/iss duos - which infest many profitable areas of the game.

ps: while the number of bots using these specific movements is pretty high, not all bots are using them. just some minutes ago i added a new bot to my "to-be-reported" list that moves in a different way (but of course in the *same different way* each time it visits town)

 

you are putting this discusion in a 2 options mode, where in fact this is not how game are suposed to be.

i dont like to play with bots, even more if there are proofs to show that they are all of the same reduced groups of ppl, who make this a part of his monthly incomings, but, as someone say before, they are neccesary at some point, if they can be controlled and litimited like who it is here on innova (wich i preffer to say that we are safe just because top farmers still are getting profits on ncbotland), and its like this cuz they brings profits to the "company" directly or indirectly it doesnt matter, but they do it.
with more adena on server, ppl only need to worry about buying it (by real money) or by farming it (via selling drops/selling l2store). also, if they can spend money buying adena, they can spend money on l2store/pa (and here we are talking about new players, not top). with more farmers on the way, there are more ppl playing on server, probably spending money on pa too (for his multiples acounts), and in the end, even if innova make a new way to detect and kill bots, this is not a good idea, mainly because the only thing that is worse than the adena inflation, is the deflation.

wich is realy sad, stupid and non-sence at all is the use of bot/scrip to automate the pvp gameplay, wich thanks god these is not the situation over here.

u can like it or not, but at the end l2 is all about best equip, thing that only can be done if u are able/ready to spend real money, or to be one of those "privileged guys" who can get equip by doing epics. on the other hand, u can freely enjot the game, just by taking it as game, doing pve with friends, making some pvp too.

for me, current market prizes (even with the removal of merchants), and bot situation are more than ok.

 

lol.. truth is staying in a town near gk and frapsing low lvl pplz that are porting proves they are bots the fact that these chars can get back in town because they died is not important. also some movements remind me of "trying to find the damn gk" back when i had a wooden pc and i had to wait 1 min before i had npc's loaded in a town so i was clicking where i thought the gk is w/o pressing shift ending moving like crazy back and forward. if this are your skills regarding bot detection... u should reconsider your "career".

the video speaks for itself. people with common sense will see that those characters are not "trying to find the damn gk" even if this is all that you are able to see in it. and by the way, i still do the "trying to find the damn gk" clicking myself with my current pc pretty often when i port from town to town.

 

the first 3 movies are about professional gamers which is not the same as bots. just the 4th one is a fkn bot central lol :d. anyway i kinda like the chinese farmers.

what he does is - poisoning their minds and feeding them in such a way , they are still hungry after every meal , but instead of wanting more food - they want more gold .

what stroke me is that, if somebody made a bot script to go there and port wherever they wanted to, why they made that one unnecessary step between going from newbie guide to gatekeeper. that is so strange and illogical. but i'm sure that guy will fix it after seeing this thread.

 

what would actually do more "pain" for boters is more complex registration.

i dont know if game companies like this able to access identity confirmation by identity card number, but if this would be done it would prevent boters comeback 100% after ban cus he could not get new acc.
he could register on his mom, dad or friend card number but eventually if his accounts get ban he would have no other opportunities to even play at this server ever again.

anyway, if this is not accessible i am sure that there are a lot more ways for identity confirmation online, which could be used here to enable registration of 1 account (2,3 or what ever) per real life person.

dudes , for those who are a lil deeper with the scripting you might know , it's very easy to make a script that repeats same action over and over again or perform a recorded action such as go to path point x , go to path point y , delay and start grinding.
there are 2 type of programs that eventually work on core .
1) xxxx, xxx
2)custom written program that appears on the task bar as something else and gm wouldn't notice anything if there is eventually a check of the logs of frost . also frost doesn't detect it as a threat cuz it appears in the task bar as anything as the scriptor wants .

now the first 2 is harder to avoid gettin cut , cuz obviously they were made for ncwest
the custom made is whole different story - and you wouldn't find this on the web - trust me

so i guess happy hunting to the gm staff , and less nervs from the everyday normal users

 

well you can buy it costs around 250 $ ,sure they might be fakes but nevertheless such option exists.
obviously you wont find them in usual cheating/mmo/adena selling sites

 

today i found several of the bots that i have reported during the last weeks. they were mostly in groups of 3 and they were going in and out of the chamber of delusion "tower of seal" instance (for those who don't know it, speak to pathfinder in rune). i spotted 5 separate groups while i was there, and each of them had at least one bot that i already knew, including two of the ones in my video linked earlier in this thread. one of the bots was reported by me for the first time as far back as september 25th, and once more on november 12th.....

 

if you think anyone will ban them - you are delusional .
check mos and stop fool yourself about bots , lol .
legit is tabu everywhere .
