NCsoft new server today

the innova work since 2006. they provide many game in russia. exampl lineage 2, point blank, rf online, aion etc.

if you had any experience with nc west like many of us had there, you wouldn't bash innova at all.

 

srsly what is with this dudes from ncwest here? you guys don't have forum there? are you feeling lonely?
if you like it there go there and spam their forum. we don't realy give a damn.
we like it here, cuz its gmt+0 and counts alot. i don't want sieges at 3 am in the morning.
plus i don't like dual boxing, l2 is a mmorpg, not a solo game.
and don't make me show you prints with zranger from ncwest...i prefer frost than botland with autobots who can't target and need programs to do it for them.

 

1. yes the frost and the game guard is illegal too if they work same type of pc scan what the frost does actively now when you login to l2.eu or when you login to l2.ru. so yes mistake was mine, when i told that frost is illegal, because it isn't just some of its options.

2. i just can experience my lag and i didn't experience big difference, example today i had lesser lag on ncwest as on the innova.

3. innova also bann the bots and cheater i never told, that they not, but frost is a simple program and not enough to keep out every really skilled zranger and bot users. nc also bann fast the amateur cheaters. but yes, bann the hardcore cheaters is harder project, those hardcore cheaters who got bann at ncwest just simply go to innova and continue.

4. i not know what kind of proof need, that cheaters plays on l2.eu and l2.ru, but write down the details what is proof for you maybe than i will able to give you some more info about it.

5. yes, peoples didn't want new provider, a part of euros supported the innova now they got the chance to play at innova, just to me it is a surprise why many of them still play on ncwest servers too...

 

they are tempting players to switch to ncswest. they will soon will start use prices in cash shop as argument too

 

i keep in respect the innova, they showed, that they had results in russia.

i just want to say i had experience with both companies, but here 99% of players just had experience at ncwest or private servers. so, i just want to say, that innova isn't so perfect too as this 99% of l2.eu community imagined. they have same mistakes too.

just honestly it is interesting, that while on the ncwest forum peoples almost totally not care what is going at the innova, here always give the news, that nc opened new server, nc did that, nc did another thing etc. while again just the innova community trash talk constantly the ncwest and its community.

i'm not here to make trouble, but simply i can't agree when someones start his amazing trash talks...

without ncsoft you couldn't have lineage 2, without ncsoft the innova never could get right to provide servers in russia or europe, so keep the respect, because you can thanks your server also to ncsoft too!

but i agree with you. we have to forget about the past and think about the future of l2 with innova.

 

you do of course know that gameguard does exacly the same thing, right? both check what kind of software you have installed and running so they can either kill it or just refuse to start the game. the main difference is that you can disable gg on ncwest servers and you can't even start the game without frost here. i do however agree with you that frost is much more restrictive than gameguard, sometimes even too restrictive but still it's nothing illegal since you're being informed about it in eula which you might accept or not.

please, note the difference between lag as in delays and lag as in fps drops. you can't eliminate the delays for services that are thousends of kilometers away, it'll always be worse than "locally" unless your isp completelly ****s or has really bad route.

both service will have to deal with cheaters and bots at the moment. i'm pretty sure ncwest will start doing it's job better than before, but still it's innova who proved in the past to be more effective on that one. frost often works in monitoring mode for new bots so they might not be banned right after release. they will be sooner or later tho.

depends on people. keep in mind that there were 2 old servers on ncwest and some people just got back their old chars and keep playing. also, us players would suffer from delays here just like eu on ncwest. still seems that interest in l2 is smaller in europe than in both americas, but that's not a proof of who offers a better service.

after all, it's about having a choice. you're free to choose the server that fits you more.

 

i would like to point that the lag also depend of your ingame, configuration, for exemple, using wide for npc management is really hungry if you are on zone with a lot of level (toi for exemple), doing alt + p is not enough as it is just modifying some distance value but not all npc, player range. and also, some values need your game to be restarted as most of the informations provided at your graphic card stay in memory.

 

ncsoft has better servers (gameplay) but it's too much delay for europeans imo

 

dunno about that.
i played on shilen @ day of opening and it had mb 1/4th of the ppl compared to core opening.

innova probably simply realize that 1 week of heavy load is no sufficient foundation for opening 1 or multiple additional servers.
don't think they'd have made it to 10+ servers in russia without sound business practices.

 

depends on the time you played there. shilen is na server so if you went there on "euro hours" then it might not be full, but according to the online counter (the one with stats - can't find an address now) they have full servers at peak hours.
