Why can' t I connect?

i have downloaded l2 god from the l2 official page, so what should i do now since i have the god client? where should i download the innova patch from?...

yeap, that' s what i did. but it still means that i got the l2 god patch, don' t i? so, where' s the prob??...

 

there is no "patch", there is god client.
ncwest god client is one game
innova god client is another game

you downloaded the first game

now download the right game, end of story

 

i see, thanks mate. but i just wanted to ask. how are they different games? i remember that when i had some l2 client, i could download and play all servers according to it...

 

because these servers were made to work with this specific l2 client, making hooks and hacks

for security and maintainability reasons, ncwest and innova have their very own clients, that have to be installed separately in order to work (otherwise you would be kicked by the server, even if it is the same game)

its sad but true, we have to deal with it
