Lags and spikes since yesterday

i came here from ncwest server ping 250 lag/delay like 3-5 sec but the server is in usa so i live with that. till the last server restart all was working very well here, i had lag problems only on sieges but not everywhere only when blackswan came, i don't want to blame them, most of the people from the server know they are using some programs what pass frost security system. anyway, till to the last rr i have spikes and lags even on soh aoe spots when more mobs are coming at the last pvp i had like 10 sec freeze 10 sec lag 10 sec freeze 10 sec lag and so one. the game is unplayable you should check what are you modify in the last frost update or idk where because when 100 people is complaining ofc is not from their pc or conection.

lag start with the maintenance and is imposible to play when you are with more than 20 ppl

i understand that this is not a private server, and that's the main reason i'm currently playing on this server.
please keep that in mind that it's not only me who experiences this issue. this is a serious issue which is caused after the last server maintenance. i am playing this game perhaps more years than you do, so allow me to know a few things more. the restart i kindly asked wasn't some sort of irony. it was a suggestion, a serious one, to check if the problem is on server side. what's the point on keep the server running this way when at least 30% of the players experience these problems?

anyway, i respect what you said and i will hold on for an official announcement about what caused the problem. but allow me to say that since this is not a private server, in case that the issue is caused by server side reasons we will demand refund for the time we couldn't play. personally, i renewed my premium account two days ago and by now it was impossible to play. i think you agree that i have some right on this point, don't you?

most of us who are dare to complaining here have paid accounts, i know is not a must to have it to play but next time i will think twice when i will start to renew it. if you think to stay 10 days till our/my ticket get an answer you are in a wrong place. btw the forum moderators have anything to say/talk with persons who are responsible from the things go well on server ? or you are here to remind me every time i'm a no one and if i don't like how the things are go i'm free to go ?! or if the things are going like now is my internet connection or pc the trouble even if i playing for that pc and internet connection over 1 year here and like me 100's of peoples have the same problem. push the red button and give the alarm to the guys who make changes at the last update, what is so hard ? or it's more easy to pretend 100's of peoples are idiots....

yes, i was there aswell on that soh pvp vs bs pt, same thing, all my party lagged, impossible to play, constant freezes, pvp over-> no more lag.

strangely enough i only had freezes+spikes on that pvp, but not on other pvp vs shadows/ltu np. a few on orfen/aq tho, but could play alright.

many players have it severe even on pve(i don't have this), tanks on epic octavis have major problems keeping cursed hero trains up coz of freezes.

 

i can confirm lags everywhere.
even when xping lowbie chars i get small delays,freezes and black screens when moving.

 

re-instal windows, download new l2 client , but still have lag. tuesday buy premium acaunt but cant play

 

dear user,

the problem is indeed serious and the proper steps has been undertaken. once the issue will be found, i guess refund will be awarded aswel.

as for the issue - we cannot say it is server side problem. if so, everyone would have such problem. it might be isp issue but this will be investigated. please follow further announcements and be awared that it will be fixed as fast as possible.

please follow this advice. the more people will send those datas for investigetion the faster issue root will be found and fixed. do not hesitate and simply do it.

if it would be isp problem my 2 client would lag aswell, but i had lag only on orfen and queen ant character, anyway i notice unusual higher cpu usage from client.

 

which are these specific datas you're talking about?

 

thank heavens i found this topic. was thinking its the game is hating me and causing all the lags and freezes.

question to people that lag: do you use avast anti-virus? the newer fancy looking one.
since frost updated as some people said maybe avast and new frost compete for dominance monitoring traffic? this causes huge cpu usage and massive freezes. i don't remember having this much lag before maintenance.

 

in k90 everythings ok until boss came up, then 4-5secs lag, freeze and so on when it died, lag stopped... i had it too this weekend but on sunday night it disappeared.... so i don't think it's my computer problem.... idk.

 

l2.exe took up to 100% of cpu usage resulting in lag spikes when in instance of two-three parties (the problem would be more severe with more people i guess). what i also noticed, in istina we didn't have problem, however in epic freya instance we did experience the issue mentioned above.

 

how to solved problem with lags/spikes?

 

personally, i am not using avast antivirus on my computer, so i guess it's definitely not this fault.

 

neither do i,i don't think it's the problem....

 

majority of people have hardware lags and freezes even during small scale pvps which did't occur before maitenance so it can't be isp problems... as far as i know during last maitenance there was only frost update, so maybe check if they didn't **** smth up and if frost isnt doing smth in the background causing those freezes and game performance issues.

also its not for everyone coz some ppl have pcs which were good enough to play lineage 2 till last maitenance and now they seems to be too low and game is unplayable. on the other hand there are ppl with 5k$ pcs and they didn't even notice that game system requirements just went up out of a blue -.-

last maintenance changes here. there was totally no changes during this maintenance with frost i don't know why you say so.

 

+ event removal which i strongly believe it's the cause of these issues.
