you don't need the gameguard folder to play on these servers. moreover, if gameguard is downloaded, it means that security system frost is not started properly.

 

yes we have some problem with frost .
that is why i am asking if anyone could upload a working up to date frost folder? please?

i wish you lot would stop complaining... your using windows xp still and your complaining about issues? i think its about time you all updated to windows 7.

xp is no longer supported for many! programs/games.

secondly its pts... everything will get a wipe, there is no rush for you windows xp lot to get into game, you have to wait 1 lousy week to play.
your not missing out on anything special, crowded newbie areas and lots of bugs. at least you lot will get the working version of the game, all from scratch with very minimal bugs.

please bear in mind that its now 2011 soon to be 2012. xp is an ancient unsupported operating system, you would all benefit from an update :d

and i bet gw2 and swtor will work fine too , stop saying xp is ********.

 

yes and look how much money they earn compared to mmo companies. for a start skyrim and mw3 are both "ports" from the xbox.. xbox being a microsoft company! duh! obviously its going to work.

bf3 has been in the making for the past 2-3+ years. obviously its going to work on all systems, including mac and linux. hell if my archos 101 android tablet was powerful enough, i would have expected bf3 to work on that also!

yeah they probably will work on xp when they come out, because some companies do care about people still using xp, but not all will!

just upgrade and everything will work fine, problem solved!!

in addition to "frost" folder you will also need a library gameshielddll from system folder of the game client. without gameshielddll you can't play on this servers

 

this makes no sense and has nothing to do with windows xp.

ps : god is working with windows xp on ncwest , here is your proof that winxp is ok to run the game , the problem comes from innova launcher/website or w/e.

mainly because ncwest is not using frost which seems to cause some troubles .

 

thanks god you have nothing to deciede here. if i want to use xp, ill use xp, its proven to work with it, the problem is how the frost system is developed, not windows.

 

f**k sake, i didnt say linage 2 doesn't work on xp! lineage 2 was designed on windows xp in the first place!

i know this is a launcher issue,
i know xp can run some latest games or all latest games with a tweak here and there.

what im saying is... xp is old!! upgrade already! i mean c'mon, the windows 8 preview is released now! are you going to upgrade then? or keep living in the past?

its like an old car, it breaks down now and again, the older cars are the more parts go wrong, that's what's happening with xp, so just buy a *insert favourite super car here* and upgrade already!

edit: it costs you nothing to put windows 7 on your pc!!

i can run god at ncwest, i can even run god at ruoff and i can not run l2 at innova eu, but yeah it's windows xp, colstorybro.
