same problem here !! stop saying ******** about re - download !! nc west start withaut any problems i go back to shillen fck this **** .

 

idiot! i play damn skyrim which was released not so long ago!!!! and it works perfectly on xp!!!!

 

bvndy you have to start the game from the site www.lineage2.eu in order to play.

 

redl it and take out any firewall you have and dont run it from l2.exe

 

now, i would like not to read anything about windows xp and l2

 

delete frost file it worked for me ( it will reinstall new one)

yep, you played 1 time, and when you tried to relog, same error, no?? same as me.........the problem is on the web launcher or in frost...............

 

yeah it works, but ya need to reboot every time

the only answer they give to us is like, "try re-download and re-install l2, again" always the same s**t.. at the moment, innova = fail. i hope next week is everything 100%, otherwise i go ncwest, sorry.

now some good news:
i used process explorer to look at what is actually running, and the game is run by (path, accout and password are of course set to your personal values):
.......\lineageii.exe -frostgame ..\system\l2.exe account=....... password=....... -frostgamenametype eu-l2_pts -frostoptions 7
so i tried to run it with -frostoptions 0, then 1, then 2.... and what you know, with -frostoptions 1 it loads the game.

 

ok, so now i tried to delete ms visual, and downloaded l2 once again, but no effect, i still get that error ..

 

windows xp... had same problems... updated some shiet... now works good

 

how to write the password???? because it tells me that the password is wrong... show example pls

 

can you please tell what exactly did you update? i personally have win7 but friends with win xp keep having problems with this
