    hi there i want to ask is there any chance to get innova launcher working on linux ? ncsoft american is working like a charm on linux but i dont know how about our europe launcher

    yes i think that there is going to be a ton of trouble for you when you try to run frost through wine :/

    how do u run gameguard in linux ? or ur a funboy just want to run the launcher programs?

    there is no gg on eu.
    but with frost problems will be too...

    he'll stuck at even starting the game with virtual machine error as wine is detected as vm these days ;-)

    first of the 4game installer is designed for a windows system and is having many problems,
    second the last chronicle that worked without gg on linux was interlude,
    third there is no way for linux to emulate the ingame font for armors and chat, so why bother if the game is not designed for it ?

    atm goddes run perfect on linux, and yea the problems could be with frost but i am thinking that i can bypass the problems and we gonna se what happend next. atm client is working perfectly i played like 4 days on goddes america ncsoft. maybe today later i will try to run it on innova and try to run frost.

    it does work if you patch the game to play without gameguard which is a rule violation there and can lead to ban eventually. you won't start it with gameguard enabled and since you can't start eu without frost here, which works just like gameguard, you can't pass vm error (without patching the system/), you don't even know your login and password in fact since it's changing every few minutes.

    so i can say that we officially doesn't support linux. well, you can try to launch l2 there but there will be no guarantee and no support from us, so you would do it at your peril

    anyone had luck with playing l2 in wine? i downloaded and installed the game but i cant run it :(
