can you post screenshot? innova has tested this before. https://4gameforum.com/showthread.php?t=17616 we made an impossible pvp in coliseum. gloom was enough to 2-3shot certain members. well even on cleanse a stacked feoh can do the most absurd damage.

from what i tested, mdef/pdef can be reduced by more than 80%, as surprised stated. only on mobs its 50%
yes if we talk about normal play you are right, but the 50% remain correct if we use chars without passive skills and buffs. also it doesnt scale as you would think it would, gloom is 50% if you had another 25% decrease debuff you will never end on -75%. (unless you stack even more debuffs.)
idc how it scales, it has %tages and this and this %tage has to apply resulting in dmg. i will check it for u right now no buffs test: gloom reduced my mdef devils curse on top reduced it even more and now all of you saying smth different, go live in your theoretical world
well, i never bothered to find out the real way it works, i can only tell you that if you have only 1 debuff it gets the full effect, the 2nd one wouldnt have the full effect simple as that. but about going above 50% on normal buffed chars, i already said you guys are correct on that and why yuna was confused. (it was the way the test was written i guess easy to missunderstand) every feoh with gloom+ devils curse and a box can see it themselves
you can gloom, devils curse + lumi, but the latest debuff wont have full effect. (maybe devils curse +10 mdef is enough to cap it) there is a cap, but it's definitely not same as in pve.
10000 - 100% x - 50% x = 5000 (gloom) 5000 - 100% x - 70% x = 3500 (mark of weakness) 3500 - 100% x - 65% x = 2275 (lumi +10 m.def) 2275 - 100% x - 70% x = 1592,5 (devil's curse) 1592,5 - 100% x - 60% x = 955,5 (mass cripling) 10000 - 100% 955,5 - x x = 90,445% (total result) that's how it works, is not 50%+40%+35%+30%+30% it doesn't decrease from basic 10000 m.def, it decreases from the present value.
like i said i never bothered with the real way how it works with debuff stacking only that it boosts dmg even more even beyond 50% dont understand my posts the wrong way, i explained how the 50% are meant. and thanks for the real scaling "rule" lazy people (like me) appreciate it ^^
3 healer setup sux hard. it s only powerful in this server cuz everyone wana see his name in blue letters and claim self estime from it to raise his ego. go vs a proper party and not some joke grps like the ones we have in this server, and when 3x dds go assist on 1 target instead of assisting their ****s, with rapso on, gl not getting wiped in those 30 seconds, with 4 healer if you like. you need a tank to counter pure damage. when proper dds like amethyst in his good times or inzanity at his end where hitting stacked ppl for 100k on purge. dafaq is multi purges gona save you from, if there is no tank to counter this dps?
the problem about the tanks, they're not tanking anymore, what happened with the agro we remember from hi5 (an example), i was able to tank party without any problem, and now tanks receives like 50k dmg from mages, which is ridiculous.
so go ask to those pro tanks that rerolled to stop use buged reflect and go use the awakened skill so feohs will suicide on them in 1 hit. rest are pure nonsense.
if tank cannot agro, spike shield is useless, therefore you have the 3 healer setup..which render tank much less eficient than a 3rd healer. kinda funny still..that tank can reflect on themselves mass agro while enemy is on purge..not that it makes any sense that you "hate yourself" to begin with.
more or less, but real formula is more complicated, bcs some p.def and m.def u cannot decrease with any % - based debuffs...
have to agree they did something wrong with tanks anyway. also with iss in epe. saw the new patch notes and future updates. these things won't change unfortunately. i always liked to play as an iss or tank but nowadays no fun anymore. actually worth more to take a 3rd healer than a tank, also as other said iss is just for buffs and br. i see a mess anyway with buffs/debuffs etc. etc. in this chronicle what we have now, even in the newer chronicles will be much more mess. actually too many options to make stuffs, too many modifications for dmg, def. and still a mage can do 100k. ridiculous anyway. i hope ncsoft can do some ninja patches in the future to make this game enjoyable again. just to sum: tanks mdef sux, reflect sux, agro sux. something happened anyway since tauti or lindvior tanks can't tank properly. in pre-god tanks were more or less good. in hi5 they were almost perfect.
tank today is just a average crowd controller to act as a sponge, and u need so much good gear to even define urself as a "tank". on lindvior..at least on core it was sorta fine. the shield was working, the knight frenzy made it a huge diference to stay up and sacrifice could stay on party member for more than 10 seconds. on epe it would a huge turn, 10k m def, 20k m def, 100k hp, it doesnt rly matter, if u arent spamming 10k qhp potions, u will die fast by dagger or nuker, actually that shield is pretty much only useful vs archers right now. and sacrifice will literaly bring u down to 1hp/undying will in 2-3 seconds. agro is screwed by reflecting on caster...reflect only good on oly. on hi5 i found them not perfect..but op..i played shilen templar since c5 to hi5..i got very much spoiled as sk every update was a boost. the amount of debuffs, auto-hit dmg + sos+ buff cancel + extreme tankyness was over the roof lol i do miss using a bow tho ><"
but a proper tank will still find a way to break some healer balls, even if it's 3 healer setup. if a healer is caught unprepared it might find itself on justice punishment at the very least. not to mention that controlling 3 healers makes it not an easy task, even harder to control such setup properly.
completly not agree, if you say that amethyst was doing dmg like 100k on purge to stacked ppl that means they were not stacked... i will give you example, for now i can rise my dmg only by borrowing b.valakas and pvp weapon, and without debuff i hit skizzik for 6k with destruction, so where is this 100k dmg?
