This is an interesting read if you like. Since contracts aren't perfect, and sometimes abusive or interpreted wrongly or are even against a higher law; the court of justice sometimes takes cases like that.
Tbh I don't think ironv has much chance going that way, but not to say it's impossible.

One thing is for sure, I think the community would openly support innova if they were to act in this case.

More than 80% of the scammers that are on server acted this ***** tiarka. They logged picked stuff and bb. If ever ironv went against innova or NC for what happened and actually won smt then another 100+ similar cases should have the same treatment. Unless ironv is some sort of a princess or some **** and people gave 2 ****s more than the average "qq online buddy that wasnt buddy eventualy logged my acc and scammed my virtual items"

About the link, this idiot went butthurt for stuff that were already being said that are punishable from the eula and he got banned. He sued NC for being the definition of no lifer and because it is Murica and everything is possible NC got punished "WTF" for stuff they were not even responsible.

On topic I think there is too much attention to this scamming case for me. I do not understand what is so outrageous or interesting about it.

Im talking about the link that you said "im looking for". That article says the guy got his acc banned and that he went into depression and got hospitalized, so he sued NCsoft for his current mental state.
So that means that anybody can sue any company if youre not satisfied and get mental stress if youre not warned beforehand about what may happen.

Ironv did not get acc stolen if i understood right. Items are innova property, and they don't belong to you, also no ilegal means were used to take items.

Laws concerning virtual items ownership are decades behind reality. Reason for it is that ever since it started, gaming was "for kids" and no1 paid real attention to it. Also ppl like @Elesmira, who seem to think, that laws cannot be changed. There just need to be enough of us, gamers. And you all can bet that now it will change soon, due to 2016 Rio de Janeiro and e-sports hitting olympics. Amount of ppl following gaming will grow exponentially. And after we have some finallists, it will take only 1 situation, where one of the top players gets scammed in some game and that news hits the media.

Having said that, why Tiarka isnt in EN yet?

 

Because you have place for hardworking players, and he never was one.

 

Laws can be changed, but requires huge effort and in gaming communities needs unified gamers and a caring company. We have nothing of those and I doubt we will ever have from now on. So...
