Recharge skill on pet

hi, i play an ee and i recently got my chicken lvl 55.
buffs work ok, but recharge doesnt.
if i get hit (low hp ), pet recharges. if hp ok, pet doesnt do anything.
only ones that can use that pet are sph and necro that can lower hp with btm.
how can i get recharged in a party where my main role is staying safe and just give mana to dds?
isn't this skill supposed to be dependent on mp of owner?

and consider that if i go into aoe area to get hit, pet will get aggro or die 1 hit by aoe.
no armors available for improved pets to be able to survive.

waiting suggestions / maybe fix on recharge (make it a mp dependent skill?)

u must be in combat mode. hit your pet.

also, top armors should help.

 

your need to be less than 50% mp and in combat then your chiken should recharge you.

what armor can i put on a chicken? maybe i missed something.. only thing i found was little harness but for baby pet.

 

with any armor your pet would be one hit shooted anyway... they doesn't ment to stand in fight, just for support.

no, it wont! it's gonna be at least 2 hits!

 

with armor, they can stand 3/4 hit from mob of the same level.
