the reason behind excluding english translation is it conflicts with their business model and/or licenses to operate on the rest of europe. i myself have requested innova to merge both european and russian branches and they actually answered that would be great but extremely tricky when it comes to legal aspects, which might be alien to us but for sure they take them in high consideration.

the latest update wasn't the one to include castle sieges and a few skills for some classes(not all of them)?

if 2.0 is out already a grade and more zones should be available according to the original schedule.

 

in such case i would be wrong, thought this update came as the 2.0.

 

i think tiwas' a small update to provide missing features... i kind of read l2 central forums on a daily basis and have yet to see a "title" for a classic update.

either way, i would guess that if we get an eu classic server we'll most likely already have those features in it as it is usual for us that get the things later than everybody else to acquire a version and its patches all at once.

koreans have 1.0 with some updates of 2.0. cap of lvl is 75 still with b grade as top . there was added the enchanted walley wchic is part of c2

well korea first got enchanted valley opened and epic jewels added to epic bosses in a first patch and after that age of war patch was introduced with other changes, skills, castles and level cap up to 80. so all in all that sounds like 2.0 update to me but i might be wrong.

 

tbere is no reason to have lvl cap to 80 max lvl of mob is 60 for now . 2.0 will be with aden zone and tower of isolence and it will be annouced the graph in this forum with update path is just some vision of ncsoft dont take it real.

 

that's what i'm thinking. they'll probably add aden/devil's isle/heine/toi/blazing swamp and a most likely the upper borders to elmore when it comes to regions, a grade for gear(most likely without the interlude added weapons) and skills for every classes.

i played the russian l2c and i like it alot.... its a torture... imagine when i yesterday in desperation wante to go with my se 24.4 to 25 so i bought some 1.5k spirit shots no grade (and thats so so much luxury :d hope you can imagine) i died while doing so, went back to 24.3 so istruggled and today i hit 24.5 and boom i died to go back to 24.4 :d then i gave up

i`m rich in shilin server sold top ng on my spoiler (ya spoiler made me kinda rich) spoiler is 25, i got also an orc shaman when i saw how powerful are dots in a no shot enivornment.

so let me summrize some stuff for you to know what you might expect in eu (if it ever happened, and if not soon i think me and many others will just give up this classic dreaming forever)
+every single item/drop/skill matters for real
-adena drops are ~ 30 /mob from 1-25
+keep mats but never ever try to craft at server launch... just sell mats and buy dropped items from other ppl there is no adena so ppl sell very low. (early days and for like 2 weeks mats sky rocketed)
+plan for tyrant (very low priced weapons and no one buys!!) , warlord (poles are very cheap if not cheapest), assassin/archer (both bows/daggers are very low priced top no grade and even start d grade)
+/- mages are the easiest lvling character and the early summons give them a huge boost to soloing! but on the other hand mage weapons comes 1st as the most expensive (blunts sometimes 1st)


i have to add my russian sentiment
-russians mostly don`t like other nationalities and english speakers. thats a fact except for some nice people, the majority of hardcore players won`t even care to take you in party, let alone the patriotic touch thinking you are an american or so.
i tried much much even used russian in english letters nothing......
the servers are full of scams, people who will try to stun you (my russian friend left the game for that and cursing the community,beside soft cored players generally are leaving but the servers are swarming still)

-the game is in russian and tbh even though many russians told me they need the game in english innova didn`t do it.
i`m about to leave for that reason (i`m not renewing my sub for the 2 accounts)

btw i can say there is many english speakers. most of which who are going to stop playing if stopped already (half of my clan in shilin is gone for good also many of my russian friends didn`t log for long many were just trying) but i think too many russians are staying for good actually shilin is getting more populated to max at peak hours.

 

tbh i don't know if eu community is ready for l2c..this place is full of guys like the one who wrote the "how i failed in l2ru" essay.

 

being pretty honest here, the people that will play on eu classic aren't the ones commenting those things. tons of people from different western countries are waiting for an english release and will hop into anything that opens first... be it classic eu, as long as it is in english we'll end up with an "intercontinental" server.

i'm pretty sure most of the player base won't be from core :v if i was still serious about core i wouldn't be looking foward to classic.

peeps complain about classic due to being afraid of innova's quite small staff having to multi-task between two or more servers.

 

i think the people commenting here will wait for innova to make the eu classic server (as do i). we all know how ncwest gms are about enforcing the eula when it comes to 3rd party programs and real money trading. for that reason alone i'd never hop into any new server from ncwest ever again!

 

i am mainly referring to all those who were so eager to play on l2.eu some years ago and quited(when a semi-bulgarian zerg stomped them)with the classic excuse:look what they 've done to my favourite game!
and sadly this community is full of those people!!

let's hope that if they decide to open a l2c server we 'll be able to play this game once again.

 

can i play on x1 where i pay 10-15 euro per month and not on a wannabe x1 with premium mentors vit runes events for exp that make the server x10 please !! x1 for god shake i want to play a game where the hardworking no lifer gets the fame and not the kid with 1000000$ that make donate even for the healing potions lolz
