NCSOFT will open a classic server

another thing i would like to add is that you won't be able to play cp style in l2c. you might try but managing 9-10 every day is hard work.. finding 9 people that will spend equal amount of time in game is eutopia; some people will play more, others less and some will be left behind. a good god player will not be a good l2c player. you need patience, you need alt chars (spoilers buffers) and possibly crafters too. it will be hard but that is the fun in it. you have an economy, you have stability you have clan based gameplay.

god players that like free lvl, free buffs, free equipment and pew pew pew all day might not see the fun on working up your *** hard to obtain your things and achieve your goals. some of us love to "suffer" obtaining our stuff and leveling up =) to play a free buffs, free equipment, free lvl and pew pew game i would play a x9000 private server. keep qqing about l2c, but even if l2c doesn't come to eu, your god servers won't increase their population. i won't play god just because i'm not getting classic xd there are plenty of private servers =)

 

everything you wrote is a big lol. have you ever played god? do you know what is l2c? pve till you die, then die lose 4-5% then pve again cuz you lost that 5 days exp in 1 sec. even an interlude private server better than l2c if you want some nostalgic. atleast the private server is free. and btw i think most of us who talking about god vs l2c are playing since ages so. we know what was in the older chronicles. but others wrote it already so i won't again.

 

4-5% thats 5 days for you? ok if you are exping 1h per day. private servers are not bad but they have a long way to be like off and i prefer to pay for good staff, good files without bugs and for online (private servers max 2k, off 5k). i started my history from c2 next c3 , c4 .... god and i can tell that l2 ended with gracja epilogue (final was bad too bad not too much). god is the worst chronickle what we can see (online at core after 2 years, 2 years and server is ending hahaha ) real off is for more than 3-4 years because you have got every time something to do and when you have for example oh my god bleu wolf or doom new chronicle is coming and you want to have majestick or nightmare. and youre not farming this day or two or 3 or week you are farming this about a month. this is lineage ii

 

guys, stop speaking about private servers. l2j is not l2 and though they may claim they have the retail files, they do not! to test it, just simply play any class with hp drain (wc, ol, sh or necro) and you will own. the pvp mechanics are so bad that it's disgusting.

regarding that 4% xp loss, i do think it's important that it is that high for if you die once or 3 times, it will matter. this will make ganking enemy parties while xp even more rewarding, training or backstabbing 2 robes then bsoe. l2c is much more than pve fest, it opens whole new ways of game play. remember that the game starts at lvl 40 not at lvl 99 as it is in god.

no xp loss in god when killed is wrong. i understand that this encourages pvp but it should be a penalty when you lose, besides your bruised ego.. then people will be more carefull of what they say, how they behave, how many enemies they make and whom they befriend.

i support the l2classic project because of the possibilities it implies: although it's simple in gear, simple in classes and simple in items it is a an old and boring game only to the simple minded; hard work is rewarded and so is killing one enemy, knowing you set him back a few hours. plus.. you have 2 sided war, you only use 1% and even less if you have ch.

and regarding those bots, bring them on! i will need to gear myself with the items they drop when i kill them with the npc. i was one of the richest daggers on franz when it was first launched in 2007 (if my memory serves me right).

 

i've been playing since late c2/early c3 and i stopped playing the "actual" version after trying out god. the goddess of destruction destroyed l2 indeed. and as i said before, some of us enjoy that "suffering" of the hard lvl, hard farming, hard everything. if you enjoy your easy pew pew then stay in your god server but let the people who actually love the real lineage 2 play it :d

when a game changes its mechanics and the way it has to be played, it's no longer the same game. this happened to lineage 2. so yes, what we call the real lineage is the original, how it was back in the day, not what it is now. still don't understand the rage of the goders on the l2c topic. they have their game version running, then why crying? just play your god and have fun, the only ones who have to cry here are the ones who want a l2c server.

i hope, if they will open this one, it will have a same model as early ru-off. 2x pa, with game shop that would be similar as the one they had in the beginning . or no item shop, only pa. my l2 started at hb, so would love to try it, as it was, before it ruined my life.

well, i'm 99% sure you wouldn't be around after a month anyway, judging from your recent posts. it's easy to recognise people like you.

 

is there any chance to start this server in couple of weeks? any idea?

 

no to start just for info that they want to open/or not this server.

 

first of all we need to receive information from l2 classic project manager or project team ,
than will be registration opened for several weeeks
and than we will wait for the registration outcome ( how many servers needed and if something willl be opened )

i don't think before march - aprill will something happen with opening of server . so if all will go best you can expect 3 months ( if)
