wishful thinking u can stop selling adena... yoo many ppl want do it just ot fell better in some pixel game and trust many, many of them are rdy to spend thousands of euro per year to buy all possible items they can obtain. many of them wont even do it from adena farmers, they gonna do it from clan mates / friends who leaving game. why u think recently all mmo coming to "f2p" model with cash shop? so developer give oportunity to buy adena "legal" instead from gold farmers. you wont even notice like 90% of those transactions anyway. for me it is kinda ******ed how low pp lare to keep buying adena etc. but it has been for many years and at least i managed to come with nice + when i stopped playing so i dont complai nso hard. have fun for 2 years / enjoy games paying only for pa and get at the end profit.

ofc u can fight bots (and every company should do it) but as i said u just cant follow most of adena / gold deals unless u wanna start shooting many many "blind bans".

on this, i must agree.
the adena sold in-game, by farmers is just the tip of the iceberg. majority of the sales are through websites selling adena, or simply from fellow clan members, or friends who perhaps might be on the verge of quitting the game. i'm not sure to what extent i can agree to, that this form of adena-selling destroyed l2.

the banning of bots is a must however, if one strives for a healthy l2 server.

of course, but we are trying to convince about l2 classic in a god forum, we are doing it wrong. and unfortunely, innova has 0 vision on how to do anything so unless another publisher gets the rights for l2classic, we either won't have l2c or will have it messed up. anyone with contacts in the industry? there are plenty of publishers in europe willing to make money of a great old school pvp game.

 

here's an idea make classic server premium only with no cash shop, then let the bots run whiled for a weeks or so, so they feel safe to buy premium on 100+ accounts or more, then ban them all. they won't try it again thats for sure. nothing stopping you at all to ban them, but at the end of the day ncsort made deals with botting companys to gain more profit. and only banned the none agreemant ones. would think 4game would do exactly the same. >.< and thats why private servers will always be better. because they are not run by chimpances.

 

i know a private development team that has been working in their free time from scratch on a f2p mmo as a homage to lineage 2, no cash shop just accepts donations from whomever if you feel inclined to do so, it's a small indie thing i don't know how it's still doing

 

seriously. how long does it take to calculate all the stuff and make a decission? i have my own company and know many other friends of mine who run their own company, and you know what? we all care about the customer and do not delude that we are doing something when we are not... innova why are you so unprofessional...
