i registered only because i hear rumors about lineage 2 classic will be also in eu. is this truth ?

i'm surprised how little advertising there is about lineage 2 classic. i browse weekly if not daily through major pc gaming review webpages and maybe only couple of them mentions lineage 2 classic, let alone mentions it being launched in eu. maybe its just me but shouldn't there be a advertising effort (if not campaign) to promote l2c? theres more people willing to play it than innova might be aware of, problem is not many people know about it.

 

and where's the server? will we be able to play the classic before lineage 3 is released?

@trith - you can't advertise something that hasn't been confirmed.

if they do similar as innova ru, that would mean announcing server ---> 2 months of advertising ---> announcing server details ----> 1-2 months later opening of the server. that being said if they announce it now, we could expect it open in summer and that could be disastrous.

 

yeah if you look at the situation through innova's, (or business eyes) then i agree. though, for me, the moment koreans decided to make l2c as another branch of l2, that was enough of a confirmation. the only question left for me was, when do we get an english client and when are the servers coming up.

maybe i don't know the methods and tools innova uses to determinate how many people would be willing to play l2c. if they plan on doing that just by some survey or registration webpage without promotion then i don't think they can accurately estimate the number. when i found out, and that was by accident mind you, that lineage 2 classic might be a real thing i talked to several old school l2 people both from na and eu, who said they would be willing to play the game and they didn't even heard of innova before. that's why i wondered why there's no ads.

 

there is no lineage 3 and there never will be, if you are thinking of lineage eternal (diablo lineage) is not l3, it's a sequel to lineage 1.
