NCSOFT will open a classic server

to be honest l2classic is nice project but i more like god+. where is f2p system. if i want pay then i pay, when i wont then i dont play - easy right? on l2c when i wont pay i cant play. there is no way to play it for free. for p2w crys only ppl who wanna be someone in game and got huge ego but they dont want to pay. any normal person who not play should not cry for p2w cause they know w/o paying they cant be best. but their ego telling them "go cry on forum now you cant be best at all" only who imo can cry at p2w are they who put 100+e for example cascet and get nothing cause it is depends on luck. somone will get 2x longing tali for 50e and somoone will get nothing when 150e+. then he can be mad. not ppl who wont pay. you choose play free so play free lol =f

l2classic will get new updates every 3 or 6 months as i renember. you will play on c1-c3 and get news update, when update will come to god then you will complain again? endles circle. better to stay here where you got eq.

or you have no life-mode. have 24h per day free to spend 10h making from 14 to 15 lvl. novadays ppl dont have time to play hardcore like that. ppl gettin old job familly, no time to spend 10h for 1 lvl. l2classic is good only for students and boys like 14-16 yeas.. eventualy for unemployed ppl. real game is on end game, till you will get endgame on classic 70% ppl who started will quit and probably back on server where they are on end game and can amke some high lvl pvp.

you will be surprised how many ppl actaully wanna play classic l2 (mostly c4+ till gracia). my humbleness was playing 6 years untill god came(not sure). we are talking of srs **** grind and all top gears thrown away for ****ty(not my kind) at least chronicle. most of the ppl that's gonna play this server are gonna be 21+ anyway and i believe that any1 who played l2 before god and has free time, will join. i honestly pitty the guys who like l2 and didn't play in 2004-2009(whenever god came) coz these were the best times of l2. hf and see ya ingame whenever classic opens.

the god++ patches look like poor copy of aion+wow. aion was a nice game until gameforge(owner of rights eu) totally ****ted on it and nothing we can do bout it. my 2cents.

@at the guy above me: p2p is not problem since most ppl who played these chronicles are already oldfags not 18yo poor students as we used to be once. and true dat, grind is huge pre c3, not every1 will take it. but imho the population of l2classic is only gonna grow bigger from c3 and above.

play as archer or mage and press f1 button.
play as support like sws / bd / wc they have so many skills that change your boring game to amazing action! songs or dance every 2 minutes and go afk ? i can't wait to play as support!

rofl if u haven't played just don't bother spamming ****. it's not simply the pvp it's the gameplay style(yep that's right no ******* constant parties n ****) and drama ofc that hooked players in those times, well and maybe the early years when i guess that was the brand of a typical mmo ( was just l2 and wow then). that is also why it didn't matter what class you are coz it was mostly teamplay. ofc there was favor to archers since they were the main dps in a rb fight, means getting more bjs overall for every1, but that didn't mean supports were left behind in terms of equipment, actually it was mostly usefulness and personal character together that mattered(w/e the class). i don't really get why you are so frustrated to post your pile of **** since i stated common known stuff. you just seem like a typical pooper guy, no offence, having no ground on ur critcs(probably since u never played in those cs or you heard some lameass propaganda from lameass friends who had been left aside for being ******ed/clanhoppin/whining *****es). you probably have no idea what i and you are talking about anyway so w/e. i'm not praising pregod. every1 is free2play w/e he likes, will it be l2classic or god or anything else. peace.

p2w gives too much advantage for people with money, not to mention that it negates work of large clans inverted in farming epics, since others can get them from donations. f2p makes every one equal.

i wonder how many people here actualy played in the ob/c1 chronicle of lineageii.
honestly you can't be serious if you realy want to go back and play those chronicles.
it makes me smile when i think of this: f1 activate soulshot if you even could afford it. (there was no automate ss) f2 attack.
not to mention the bugs. the only advantage now will be all the class transfer quests info will be available on the web.
spending 2 weeks gameplay just to finish the 3 quests for 2nd class transfer was not an exception trying to follow the blurry quest line without any info available. anyways gl for all who want to punish them selfs with 12 hours grinding a day for 10% xp on lvl 30 wake me up when high 5 goes live

 

l2 classic - discussion / info

since innova staff announced opening l2classic in future about a week ago, i think it's time for us to have some kind of thread where people can get latest information regarding l2classic in general, as well as information on innova l2c progress.

so, let me start with questions to innova staff:

1. do we have any eta regarding server opening ?

2. i heard that innova staff will implement some kind of survey, so that they can see how many people are interesting in playing the server. is it true, and if it is, when can we expect it?

3. will innova open both ru and en at the same time, or seperately?

all of you think that l2classic is so fun becouse you can back to this days when started with lineage 2
was fun when you don't know game(newbie) when you lvl up and you don't know where to go what skills you get.
when you all the time hit w/o soulshots becouse you don't know what is this.
now when you know much more it will be frustrated for you to hit mobs w/o soulshots or level so slow. using only 1-2 skills was fun 9 years ago.

don't blame me this is true. maybe now you didin't agree but after some days of play on l2classic you will understand.

 

and yet there are over 20k online players on combined classic servers almost 3 months after opening. since you are so wise, could you elaborate why these people are still playing those servers?

it's worth mentioning that 5 god+ korean servers combined have online 3 to 4 times less than classic korean servers.

 

those ppl playing on that server, cause they are *** and they live in the past. world is changing, life is changing even this game changing too, they just dont want to accept this. and for innova sake, they are koreans, you know what that mean? they are a little bit ***, so ofc they enjoy, even that.
but like ppl said before me, enjoy your 10hour exp for 10% at lvl30. i guess thats what you call mad fun.

 

u shouldnt compare korean gaming habbits with european ones. just cause its a big success in korea doesnt mean the classic server here will even have +500 active ppl after 2 months.
time will show if this l2classic event will be successfull here as well and ppl arent only blinded by their nostalgic feeling they have for the good old times.
